Strength of Stabilised Soil - A Laboratory Study on Clays and Organic Soils Stabilised with different Types of Binder [PDF]
Stabilisation of soft soils by deep mixing with binders is the most frequently used method of ground improvement in Sweden today, and is increasingly being used internationally. The most common binders employed are cement and lime, but a variety of other

Dimethyl fumarate (DMF) reduces growth of HPV‐positive cervical cancer spheroids and induces ferroptosis in cervical cancer cells via blocking SLC7A11/Glutathione (GSH) axis. Combination of subcytotoxic doses of DMF and cisplatin (CDDP) further suppresses spheroid growth and drives cell death in 2D culture models.

Tumors contain diverse cellular states whose behavior is shaped by context‐dependent gene coordination. By comparing gene–gene relationships across biological contexts, we identify adaptive transcriptional modules that reorganize into distinct vulnerability axes.

When applied to linear systems arising from scalar elliptic partial differential equations, algebraic multigrid (AMG) schemes based on aggregation exhibit a mesh size dependent convergence behaviour. As the number of iterations increases with the number of unknowns in the linear system, the computational complexity of such a scheme is non-optimal ...

COMP–PMEPA1 axis promotes epithelial‐to‐mesenchymal transition in breast cancer cells
This study reveals that cartilage oligomeric matrix protein (COMP) promotes epithelial‐to‐mesenchymal transition (EMT) in breast cancer. We identify PMEPA1 (protein TMEPAI) as a novel COMP‐binding partner that mediates EMT via binding to the TSP domains of COMP, establishing the COMP–PMEPA1 axis as a key EMT driver in breast cancer.

Nanocrystalline multicomponent entropy stabilised transition metal oxides
Multicomponent entropy stabilised oxides containing four and five metal elements in equiatomic amounts were successfully synthesised in nanocrystalline form by nebulised spray pyrolysis (NSP), flame spray pyrolysis (FSP) and reverse co-precipitation (RCP)

Pre‐analytical handling critically determines liquid biopsy performance. This study defines practical best‐practice conditions for cell‐free DNA (cfDNA) and extracellular vesicle–derived DNA (evDNA), showing how processing time, storage conditions, tube type, and plasma input volume affect DNA integrity and mutation detection.

Somatic mutational landscape in von Hippel–Lindau familial hemangioblastoma
The causes of central nervous system (CNS) hemangioblastoma in Von Hippel–Lindau (vHL) disease are unclear. We used Whole Exome Sequencing (WES) on familial hemangioblastoma to investigate events that underlie tumor development. Our findings suggest that VHL loss creates a permissive environment for tumor formation, while additional alterations ...

Tadpole conjecture in non-geometric backgrounds
Calabi-Yau compactifications have typically a large number of complex structure and/or Kähler moduli that have to be stabilised in phenomenologically-relevant vacua. The former can in principle be done by fluxes in type IIB solutions.
