Multimodal Data‐Driven Microstructure Characterization
A self‐consistent autonomous workflow for EBSP‐based microstructure segmentation by integrating PCA, GMM clustering, and cNMF with information‐theoretic parameter selection, requiring no user input. An optimal ROI size related to characteristic grain size is identified.

Judgement Method for Surrounding Rock Stability of Guanjiao Tunnel Based on Catastrophe Theory [PDF]
The stability judgement of surrounding rock is one of the key jobs in tunnel engineering. Taking the Erlongdong fault bundle section of Guanjiao Tunnel as the background, the stability of surrounding rock during construction of soft rock tunnel was ...

A giant magnetic coercivity and a vertical shift of hysteresis loops are demonstrated in Sr3YCo4O10+δ epitaxial films. The hard magnetic behavior originates from ferromagnetic spin bags stabilized within a long‐range ordered oxygen‐vacancy structure.

Geometry‐driven design of soft cellular metamaterials is systematically investigated by combining experiments, finite element modeling, and statistical prediction. The study quantifies how unit cell geometry and material properties govern stiffness, instability, densification, and energy absorption.

Dynamic Monitoring and Stability Analysis of Rock-bolted Crane Girder In large Cavern With Layered Surrounding Rock [PDF]
The large and medium-sized hydropower projects underground cavern group are basically in relatively integrate surrounding rock, so there are few engineering examples in layered surrounding rock with type III surrounding rocks as the main rock, and lack ...

Pressure relief for drilling (trenching) and support technology in deep soft rock tunnels
Controlling surrounding rock stability in deep soft rock tunnels solely by increasing the support strength is challenging. The key areas where the surrounding rock of a roadway is prone to “instability” should be treated with comprehensive measures, such

Analyzing the Stability of Rock Surrounding Deep Cross-Tunnels Using a Dynamic Velocity Field [PDF]
With the increasing number of deep rock engineering projects, many different types of tunnels have emerged, such as cross-tunnels. These tunnels intersect with each other in rock, which causes potential safety hazards.
