Simple derivation of stability radius of multivariatesystems
The authors show that stability radii of discrete multivariate systems can be derived in a straightforward fashion by applying the maximum modulus principle for holomorphic functions of several complex variables.

On the stability and spectral radius of a finite set of matrices [PDF]
This paper studies some problems related to the stability and the spectral radius of a finite set of matrices. A seasonal epidemic model is given to illustrate the use of the obtained results. In this example, the relationship between the obtained results and the stability of a discrete time periodic linear system is obtained.

Performance Triggered Adaptive Model Reduction for Soil Moisture Estimation in Precision Irrigation
ABSTRACT Accurate soil moisture information is essential for precise irrigation to enhance water use efficiency. Estimating soil moisture based on limited soil moisture sensors is especially critical for obtaining comprehensive soil moisture information when dealing with large‐scale agricultural fields.

Neural Network Adaptive Control With Long Short‐Term Memory
ABSTRACT In this study, we propose a novel adaptive control architecture that provides dramatically better transient response performance compared to conventional adaptive control methods. This is accomplished by the synergistic employment of a traditional adaptive neural network (ANN) controller and a long short‐term memory (LSTM) network.

Hydrogel‐Based Capacitive Sensor Model for Ammonium Monitoring in Aquaculture
Traditional techniques for monitoring aquaculture water quality, particularly ammonium levels, harm fish. This work presents a novel capacitive sensor with an ionic hydrogel transducer to monitor ammonium concentration in real time based on the ammonium‐induced hydrogel dissociation and osmotic pressure. Monitoring aquaculture water quality, especially

The stability criteria affecting the formation of high‐entropy alloys, particularly focusing in supersaturated solid solutions produced by mechanical alloying, are analyzed. Criteria based on Hume–Rothery rules are distinguished from those derived from thermodynamic relations. The formers are generally applicable to mechanically alloyed samples.

The stability radius of a quasi-Fredholm operator [PDF]
We extend the technique used by Kordula and Müller to show that the stability radius of a quasi-Fredholm operator T T is the limit of γ ( T n ) 1 / n \gamma (T^n)^{1/n} as

Efficient Method for Computing Lower Bounds on the $p$-radius of Switched Linear Systems
This paper proposes lower bounds on a quantity called $L^p$-norm joint spectral radius, or in short, $p$-radius, of a finite set of matrices. Despite its wide range of applications to, for example, stability analysis of switched linear systems and the ...

Stability of second-order differential inclusions
For an arbitrary second-order stable matrix A, we calculate the maximum positive value R for which the differential inclusion $$ dot{x}in F_{R}(x):={(A+Delta)x, Delta in mathbb{R}^{2imes 2}, |Delta | leq R } $$ is asymptotically stable.
