Highway designs: effects of heavy vehicles stability
From the perspective of heavy vehicles stability, some criteria of stability should be adhered to highway designs. In particular, the relationship between minimum radius, superelevation, slope angle, side friction, and design speed should be re-evaluated.

A Case‐Based Reasoning Approach to Model Manufacturing Constraints for Impact Extrusion
A hybrid modeling approach is presented that combines constraint‐based process modeling and case‐based reasoning. The model formalizes manufacturing constraints and integrates simulation data to model complex manufacturing processes. The approach supports manufacturability analysis during product design through an adaptive modeling environment.

A study on Jahn–Teller distortion reveals that the configuration with Ti-substitution is more stable than that in the case of Ba-replacement. However, magnetoelectric coupling is weak as no spontaneous polarization is formed in the doped unit cell ...

Differentiable stability and sphere theorems for manifolds and Einstein manifolds with positive scalar curvature [PDF]
Leon Green obtained remarkable rigidity results for manifolds of positive scalar curvature with large conjugate radius and/or injectivity radius. Using $C^{k,\alpha}$ convergence techniques, we prove several differentiable stability and sphere theorem ...

Stability of Oscillating Gaseous Masses in Massive Brans-Dicke Gravity
This paper explores the instability of gaseous masses for the radial oscillations in post-Newtonian correction of massive Brans-Dicke gravity. For this purpose, we derive linearized perturbed equation of motion through Lagrangian radial perturbation ...

Simulation of Inhomogeneous Refractive Index Fields Induced by Hot Tailored Forming Components
This article presents a simulation model for simulating inhomogeneous refractive index fields (IRIF) in hot‐forged components, accounting for thermal influences and complex geometries. Through this simulation, a priori knowledge about the propagation of the IRIF can be obtained, allowing for the positioning of the component or an optical measurement ...

Robust stability of patterned linear systems
For a Hurwitz stable matrix $A\in \mathbb{R}^{n\times n}$, we calculate the real structured radius of stability for $A$ with a perturbation $P=B\Delta (t)C$, where $A, B, C$, $ \Delta (t)$ form a patterned quadruple of matrices; i.e., they are ...

The Role of dimensionality in the stability of a confined Bose gas
We study analytically the ground-state stability of a Bose-Einstein condensate (BEC) confined in an harmonic trap with repulsive or attractive zero-range interaction by minimizing the energy functional of the system.

This study investigates the bond quality of co‐extruded aluminum–titanium hybrid profiles, focusing on the lateral angular co‐extrusion (LACE) process. It examines how heat treatments (HT) affect intermetallic phase formation, bond strength, and material properties.

DARK ENERGY AND KEY PHYSICAL PARAMETERS OF CLUSTERS OF GALAXIES
We study physics of clusters of galaxies embedded in the cosmic dark energy background. The equilibrium and stability of polytropic spheres with equation of state of the matter P = Kpγ, γ = 1 + 1/n, in presence of a non-zero cosmological ...
