Existence and Stability for a Nonlinear Coupled p-Laplacian System of Fractional Differential Equations

open access: yesJournal of Mathematics, 2021
In this paper, we study the nonlinear coupled system of equations with fractional integral boundary conditions involving the Caputo fractional derivative of orders θ1 and θ2 and Riemann–Liouville derivative of orders ϱ1 and ϱ2 with the p-Laplacian ...

The (Glg)ABCs of cyanobacteria: modelling of glycogen synthesis and functional divergence of glycogen synthases in Synechocystis sp. PCC 6803

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
We reconstituted Synechocystis glycogen synthesis in vitro from purified enzymes and showed that two GlgA isoenzymes produce glycogen with different architectures: GlgA1 yields denser, highly branched glycogen, whereas GlgA2 synthesizes longer, less‐branched chains.

Existence and exponential stability in the pth moment for impulsive neutral stochastic integro-differential equations driven by mixed fractional Brownian motion

open access: yesJournal of Inequalities and Applications, 2019
This paper consider the existence, uniqueness and exponential stability in the pth moment of mild solution for impulsive neutral stochastic integro-differential equations driven simultaneously by fractional Brownian motion and by standard Brownian motion.

Valosin‐containing protein counteracts ATP‐driven dissolution of FUS condensates through its ATPase activity in vitro

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Biomolecular condensates formed by fused in sarcoma (FUS) are dissolved by high ATP concentrations yet persist in cells. Using a reconstituted system, we demonstrate that valosin‐containing protein (VCP), an AAA+ ATPase, counteracts ATP‐driven dissolution of FUS condensates through its D2 ATPase activity.

On Ulam–Hyers–Mittag-Leffler Stability of Fractional Integral Equations Containing Multiple Variable Delays

open access: yesMathematics
In recent decades, many researchers have pointed out that derivatives and integrals of the non-integer order are well suited for describing various real-world materials, for example, polymers.

Residual tail twisting in ascidian larvae is stabilized by asymmetric myofibrils that resist bilateral symmetry restoration

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Ascidian Ciona larvae initially show strong clockwise tail twisting, which is largely corrected during development. However, a small residual twist remains. This study shows that organized helical myofibrils in tail muscles mechanically stabilize this residual asymmetry, preventing complete restoration of bilateral symmetry and revealing how embryos ...

An unexpected alternative viologen electron mediator site in tungsten‐containing formate dehydrogenase

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
An unexpected alternative interaction site for ethyl viologen was identified in formate dehydrogenase 1 from Methylorubrum extorquens. Combined mutagenesis, kinetic analysis, and docking revealed that aromatic residues near an iron–sulfur cluster enable flavin mononucleotide‐independent electron transfer, offering a framework for engineering improved ...

Analysis of Dynamics and Stability of an Eight-Dimensional Machining System with Cryptographic Applications

open access: yesTikrit Journal of Engineering Sciences
When studying dynamic systems, the Hamilton function and Lyapunov stability theory are integral to understanding and maintaining them. In the present paper, an eight-dimensional nonlinear system will be considered, and its potential for use in safety ...

Some new nonlinear second-order boundary value problems on an arbitrary domain

open access: yesAdvances in Difference Equations, 2018
In this paper, we develop the existence theory for nonlinear second-order ordinary differential equations equipped with new kinds of nonlocal non-separated type integral multi-point boundary conditions on an arbitrary domain. Existence results are proved
