Stable isotope enrichment - current and future potential

Nuclear Instruments and Methods in Physics Research Section A: Accelerators, Spectrometers, Detectors and Associated Equipment, 1993
Abstract Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL) operates the Isotope Enrichment Facility for the purpose of providing enriched stable isotopes, selected radioactive isotopes (including the actinides), and isotope-related materials and services for use in various research applications.

Stable equivalent-barotropic oceanic boundary currents

Il Nuovo Cimento C, 1987
In this paper certain steady equivalent-barotropic oceanic boundary currents are presented. They all have the property of being resistant to small-amplitude quasi-geostrophic perturbations of any spatial form. Such a stability property has been determined by making use of a method originally proposed by Arnold and whose importance for flows over a flat

Magnetic skyrmions: advances in physics and potential applications

, 2017
Magnetic skyrmions are small swirling topological defects in the magnetization texture. Their stabilization and dynamics depend strongly on their topological properties.

Stable Current Regulator for Superconducting Solenoids

Review of Scientific Instruments, 1965
A zero to twenty-five ampere controller for use with a superconducting solenoid is described. The controller drift is less than one part in 106 per hour and the low frequency peak-to-peak noise is less than one part in 106 of the maximum current output.

Temperature stable voltage controlled current source

IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems I: Fundamental Theory and Applications, 1994
This paper proposes a complementary bipolar junction transistor circuit that supplies a nominally temperature invariant output current whose value is linearly related to a user defined static control voltage. The circuit developed herein is a true current source, as opposed to a current sink.

A Novel Temperature Stable CMOS Current Reference

2006 8th International Conference on Solid-State and Integrated Circuit Technology Proceedings, 2006
A novel CMOS current reference with low temperature and supply sensitivity has been designed in Hynix 0.5mum CMOS process. By using the compensation of the negative and positive temperature-coefficient currents, the current reference achieves a temperature-coefficient of 140 ppm/degC over the temperature range from -40 degC to +125 degC and a low ...

A current-dividing highly stable DC current transformer using a magnetic modulator

IEEE Transactions on Instrumentation and Measurement, 1989
A highly stable DC transformer system has been developed to control large currents to 1 p.p.m. It uses a resistive current divider and two magnetic-modulator ampere-turn comparators with feedback. The comparators are operated just below flux density saturation. This prevents input transients from disrupting the feedback control. The main comparator has

A highly stable current or voltage source

Journal of Physics E: Scientific Instruments, 1972
A powerful iterative method of current stabilization is described which uses FETs in a chain. Zero temperature coefficient for small temperature excursions may be obtained at a certain current value characteristic of the individual transistor. By means of one or two fixed resistors very stable voltages of almost any value may be produced.

Management of Stable Angina – Current Guidelines: A Critical Appraisal

Cardiovascular Drugs and Therapy, 2016
Guidelines provide recommendations to improve patient outcomes, but many of the recommendations made for treating patients with stable angina are opinion based rather than evidence based. Risk stratification to predict patients at an increased risk of myocardial infarction (MI) and sudden ischemic death, and selection of patients for possible ...

Temperature-stable spun elliptical-core optical-fiber current transducer

Optics Letters, 1993
A temperature-stable electrical current transducer, with a spun birefringent elliptical-core optical fiber, has been designed, theoretically analyzed, constructed, and tested. The transducer uses a novel form of Sagnac interferometer to cancel the temperature dependence of the spun fiber.
