Stable current profile in a stellarator with shear

Nuclear Fusion, 1990
The authors have studied the stability of helical modes in a current carrying stellarator, ignoring the curvature of the axis and plasma pressure. They show that it is possible to fully stabilize a current column with a given arbitrary current value against both ideal and tearing modes by superimposing an external stellarator rotational transform with ...

Stable source of AC voltage and current

Proceedings of the 21st IEEE Instrumentation and Measurement Technology Conference (IEEE Cat. No.04CH37510), 2004
A stable source of AC voltage up to 120 V and current up to 6 A is developed and built. The stability of the source monitored over several minutes is far under 10 ppm of full scale for voltage, current and power, and in the range of 10 ppm of full scale for voltage and current and 20 ppm of full scale for power over several hours, with the phase angle ...

A magnetic-modulator-type current-dividing highly stable DC current transformer for large currents

IEEE Transactions on Instrumentation and Measurement, 1991
A highly stable current-dividing DC current transformer system using a second-harmonic type of magnetic modulator has been developed for a several-hundred-ampere highly regulated current source which is required for nuclear magnetic resonance measurements.

[Current Treatment of Stable Angina].

Praxis, 2015
Current therapy for stable angina includes surgical and percutaneous revascularization, which has been improved tremendously over the last decades. Smoking cessation and regular exercise are the cornerstone for prevention of further cerebrovascular events. Medical treatment includes treatment of cardiovascular risk factors and antithrombotic management,

Stable current and voltage generation under process variation

2010 East-West Design & Test Symposium (EWDTS), 2010
A new stable current and voltage generation method is proposed. It allows obtaining stable operating point under process variation (PV) using well-known self-bias technique. Stability against various process corners is achieved using only one type of transistor as current (voltage) generating elements.

Stable Current Regulator for Superconducting Solenoids

Review of Scientific Instruments, 1965
A zero to twenty-five ampere controller for use with a superconducting solenoid is described. The controller drift is less than one part in 106 per hour and the low frequency peak-to-peak noise is less than one part in 106 of the maximum current output.

Ivabradine: a Selective If Current Inhibitor in the Treatment of Stable Angina

Recent Patents on Cardiovascular Drug Discovery, 2006
The role of heart rate reduction in the management of myocardial ischemia and chronic stable angina is pivotal. However, broad use and appropriate dosing of commonly used rate-slowing drugs is limited by their poor tolerability. Ivabradine is a selective inhibitor of the If currents of the sinoatrial node cells.

A highly stable current or voltage source

Journal of Physics E: Scientific Instruments, 1972
A powerful iterative method of current stabilization is described which uses FETs in a chain. Zero temperature coefficient for small temperature excursions may be obtained at a certain current value characteristic of the individual transistor. By means of one or two fixed resistors very stable voltages of almost any value may be produced.

A portable and stable source of AC voltage, current and power

Proceedings of Conference on Precision Electromagnetic Measurements Digest, 1995
This paper describes a portable and stable source of AC voltage, current, and power. It was developed for use with the National Research Council of Canada (NRC) watt-voltampere (W-VA) Transfer Standard to provide high-accuracy on-site calibrations of standards maintained by Canadian electrical utilities in order to establish traceability of these ...
