Efficacy of entomopathogenic nematodes at different spray pressures on Stomoxys calcitrans larvae (Diptera: Muscidae) in by-products of sugarcane mills [PDF]
Stomoxys calcitrans is a hematophagous dipteran. The study aimed to evaluate the influence of spraying pressure on the efficacy of entomopathogenic nematodes (EPNs) on S. calcitrans larvae in sugarcane byproducts.

Composite Ti–6Al–4V–epoxy lattice structures are additively manufactured and epoxy infiltrated for cyclic loading. At low lattice volume fractions, hybridization produces synergistic gains in stiffness and energy dissipation. At higher volume fractions, synergy diminishes, although composites still exceed metallic lattices in specific energy ...

External Morphology of Stable Fly (Diptera: Muscidae) Larvae [PDF]
Scanning electron microscopy was used to examine the external morphology of first-, second-, and third-instar stable flies (Stomoxys calcitrans (L.)). In the cephalic region, the antennae, labial lobe, and maxillary palpi are morphologically similar among instars.

The Heritability of Mating Behaviour in a Fly and Its Plasticity in Response to the Threat of Sperm Competition [PDF]
Phenotypic plasticity is a key mechanism by which animals can cope with rapidly changeable environments, but the evolutionary lability of such plasticity remains unclear.

Influence of Geometric Design on Mechanical Performance of Auxetic Metastructure
Strategic geometric reinforcement transforms auxetic performance. This study evaluates 3D‐printed arrowhead metastructures, revealing that a modified design with local ring reinforcement suppresses premature failure to achieve superior energy absorption and structural efficiency.

An all‐in‐one analog AI accelerator is presented, enabling on‐chip training, weight retention, and long‐term inference acceleration. It leverages a BEOL‐integrated CMO/HfOx ReRAM array with low‐voltage operation (<1.5 V), multi‐bit capability over 32 states, low programming noise (10 nS), and near‐ideal weight transfer.

Stable Fly Population Dynamics in Eastern Nebraska in Relation to Climatic Variables
Stable flies are among the most important pests of cattle and other livestock in North America. Their biting and annoyance reduce weight gains in cattle costing producers more than $1 billion per year in production losses.
