Self‐Assembled Monolayers in p–i–n Perovskite Solar Cells: Molecular Design, Interfacial Engineering, and Machine Learning–Accelerated Material Discovery

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
This review highlights the role of self‐assembled monolayers (SAMs) in perovskite solar cells, covering molecular engineering, multifunctional interface regulation, machine learning (ML) accelerated discovery, advanced device architectures, and pathways toward scalable fabrication and commercialization for high‐efficiency and stable single‐junction and

Differences in the isotopic composition of individual grains and aggregated seed samples affect interpretation of ancient plant cultivation practices

open access: yesFrontiers in Environmental Archaeology
The stable carbon (δ13C) and nitrogen (δ15N) isotope analysis of charred archaeological grains provides a remarkably precise scale of information: the growing conditions under which a plant was cultivated in a single field and season. Here we investigate

Beyond Earth: Resilience of Quasi‐2D Perovskite Solar Cells in Space

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
In the article (DOI: 10.1002/adma.202520433), Christoph Putz and co‐workers demonstrate rigid quasi‐2D perovskite solar cells operating in low Earth orbit, delivering stable power for more than 100 days under real‐space conditions. In‐orbit performance is correlated with extensive ground‐based thermal and proton‐irradiation studies on rigid and ...

Stable isotope geochemistry

open access: yesEos, Transactions American Geophysical Union, 1971
A review of oxygen isotope geochemistry is presented by Garlick [1969] in the Handbook of Geochemistry. Oxygen isotope geochemistry was also the subject of a chapter by Epstein and Taylor [1967] in Researches in Geochemistry. In Geochemistry of Hydrothermal Ore Deposits, a review chapter on the application of oxygen isotopes was written by Taylor [1967],

Building like a Coral—Parallelized, Multiscale Biofabrication

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Corals build stiff, strong, and inherently circular skeletal materials under resource‐ and energy‐limited conditions—offering blueprints for transformative materials. We synthesize the current understanding of coral biomineralization and reframe coral growth as a multiscale, parallelized biofabrication process.

Scalable and Customizable Single‐Atom Coatings for pH‐Universal H2O2 Electrosynthesis

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
A universal one‐step soot‐deposition route was developed to convert various metal‐containing paraffins into conformal single‐atom catalyst (SAC) coatings on diverse electrodes, yielding robust, efficient SAC‐coated gas diffusion electrodes for H2O2 electrosynthesis.

Isotopically Selected Co‐Doping of 121Sb and 123Sb Pairs in Silicon

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Pairs of 121Sb and 123Sb atoms are doped into silicon using single cluster implantation and found to reside substitutionally within the crystal lattice due to self‐annealing with a Sb‐to Sb separation of ≈2 nm. Molecular dynamics simulations reproduce the observed experimental results and single ion cluster detection efficiencies of 94% are ...

Stable isotope studies [PDF]

open access: yes, 1989
The research has been in four general areas: (1) correlation of isotope effects with molecular forces and molecular structures, (2) correlation of zero-point energy and its isotope effects with molecular structure and molecular forces, (3) vapor pressure isotope effects, and (4) fractionation of stable isotopes. 73 refs, 38 figs, 29 tabs.
