A mechanochemically synthesized dual‐site electrocatalyst (RuNC@Fe1NC) accelerates alkaline hydrogen evolution via atomic‐level spatial decoupling. Oxophilic Fe single atoms effectively dissociate water, while adjacent Ru nanoclusters rapidly recombine hydrogen.

PoolDilutionR: An R package for easy optimization of isotope pool dilution calculations
Isotopic pool dilution is a powerful approach to quantify gross biogeochemical transformation rates, but remains seldom used despite its potential. To facilitate broader implementation of pool dilution methods, we present a user‐friendly R package that ...

Stable Isotope Tracers of Cretaceous Arctic Paleoprecipitation
We report estimated stable isotope compositions of depositional waters and paleoprecipitation from the Cretaceous Arctic to further elucidate the role of the global hydrologic cycle in sustaining polar warmth during that period. Estimates are based on new hydrogen isotopic analyses of n-alkane biomarkers extracted from Late Cretaceous and mid ...

Stable oxygen and carbon isotope compositional fields for skeletal and diagenetic components in New Zealand Cenozoic nontropical carbonate sediments and limestones: A synthesis and review [PDF]
The stable oxygen isotope composition (δ18O) of a precipitated carbonate depends mainly on the isotope composition, salinity, and temperature of the host fluid, whereas the stable carbon isotope composition (δ13C) reflects the source of CO2 for ...

Our research unveiled a regulatory paradigm wherein TRIM25 orchestrates the ubiquitin‐mediated degradation of UGDH. UGDH modulates the protein stability of TJP1 by regulating O‐GlcNAcylation levels, effectively impeding the metastasis of ccRCC. Our insights elevate UGDH to a pivotal biomarker and tumor suppressor, marking the first demonstration that ...

Fetal baboons convert 18:3n-3 to 22:6n-3 in vivo: a stable isotope tracer study
Using [13C]-tracers and direct fetal doses, we show for the first time that the fetal primate converts α-linolenic acid (18:3) to docosahexaenoic acid (22:6) in vivo, and we estimate the relative bioefficacy of the two substrates for brain 22:6 accretion.

Furrow tillage resolves the conventional‐vs.‐no‐tillage trade‐off by simultaneously cutting CO2 efflux to 2.0–3.0 g C m−2 d−1 and unlocking high nutrient availability for the rice rhizosphere. This scalable agronomic solution strengthens soil health, enhances plant physiology, reshapes microbial metabolism, and shifts paddy systems toward a net ...
