Speed control of an induction motor by 6-switched 3-level inverter

open access: yesOpen Physics, 2017
This paper presents speed control analysis of an induction motor by a 6-switched 3-level inverter. In the analysis of topology, the study used the field oriented control technique which is widely used in the literature, easy and stable for operating ...

Spectrally Tunable 2D Material‐Based Infrared Photodetectors for Intelligent Optoelectronics

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Intelligent optoelectronics through spectral engineering of 2D material‐based infrared photodetectors. Abstract The evolution of intelligent optoelectronic systems is driven by artificial intelligence (AI). However, their practical realization hinges on the ability to dynamically capture and process optical signals across a broad infrared (IR) spectrum.

DNA‐Templated 2D Heterostructures as Phototriggered Dynamic Nanohybrids: From Releasing Molecular Loads to Controlling Enzyme Biocatalytic Function

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
DNA strands are employed both as dynamic linkers and nanoscale templates for the integration of Ag2S nanoparticles on MoS2, which in turn imparted photothermal responsiveness; this feature permits the selective cargo (fluorophore, quantum dots or an enzyme) release from the MoS2 surface in response to local heat induced by light irradiation.

Melt Grafting of Geometry‐Tailored Voltage Stabilizers for High‐Performance Polypropylene Insulation

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A scalable one‐step melt grafting strategy is developed to enhance the dielectric properties of isotactic polypropylene by covalently incorporating thermally stable aromatic voltage stabilizers. This solvent‐free approach improves volume resistivity and DC breakdown strength through deep trap formation and charge localization, offering a sustainable ...

Circular‐Polarization‐Sensitive Organic Photodetectors with a Chiral Nanopatterned Electrode Inverse‐Designed by Genetic Algorithm

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A chiral photodetector capable of selectively distinguishing left‐ and right‐handed circularly polarized light is experimentally demonstrated. The device, which features a nanopatterned electrode inverse‐designed by a genetic algorithm within a metal–dielectric–metal nanocavity that incorporates a vacuum‐deposited small‐molecule multilayer, exhibits ...

Stable and Discriminative Topological Graph Analysis

open access: yes, 2020
We propose a novel method for topological analysis of unweighted graphs which is based on \textit{persistent homology}. The proposed method maps the input graph to a complete weighted graph where the weighting function maps each edge to a value indicating the degree to which it belongs to a clique.

Stoma‐Shell Nanoarchitecture for Enhanced Plasma Confinement Catalysis in Synthesis of Ethanol from CO2

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
High‐energy electron impact in plasma catalysis often causes excessive dissociation of active intermediates, limiting C2+ product selectivity. To address this challenge, a bio‐inspired stoma‐shell nanoarchitecture is designed to decouple electron impact from catalytic reaction zones.

Topological pressures for $\epsilon$-stable and stable sets

open access: yes, 2010
Topological pressures of the preimages of $\epsilon$-stable sets and some certain closed subsets of stable sets in positive entropy systems are investigated. It is showed that the topological pressure of any topological system can be calculated in terms of the topological pressure of the preimages of $\epsilon$-stable sets.

All "Magic Angles" Are "Stable" Topological

open access: yes, 2018
We show that the electronic structure of the low-energy bands in the small angle-twisted bilayer graphene consists of a series of semi-metallic and topological phases. In particular we are able to prove, using an approximate low-energy particle-hole symmetry, that the gapped set of bands that exist around all magic angles has what we conjecture to be a
