Stable approximation schemes for optimal filters
A stable filter has the property that it asymptotically `forgets' initial perturbations. As a result of this property, it is possible to construct approximations of such filters whose errors remain small in time, in other words approximations that are ...

Phase Field Failure Modeling: Brittle‐Ductile Dual‐Phase Microstructures under Compressive Loading
The approach by Amor and the approach by Miehe and Zhang for asymmetric damage behavior in the phase field method for fracture are compared regarding their fitness for microcrack‐based failure modeling. The comparison is performed for the case of a dual‐phase microstructure with a brittle and a ductile constituent.

Particles as stable topological solitons
We discuss a model for charged particles and their fields where mass is field energy only, charge appears as a topological quantum number, photons are Goldstone bosons of spontaneous symmetry breaking, spin and chirality are described as topological charge of solitons interacting by Coulomb and Lorentz forces. The model is U(l) gauge invariant.

On the topology of stable maps
We investigate how Viro's integral calculus applies for the study of the topology of stable maps. We also discuss several applications to Morin maps and complex maps.

Viktoriia Shtefan, Thorgund Nemec, Ute Hempel, Annett Gebert and coworkers demonstrate that anodic treatment of Ti–Cu‐based metallic glass in a nontoxic pyrophosphate electrolyte forms a protective bilayered Ti/Zr‐oxide film enriched with Cu nanocrystals.

A Moving Target Defense Strategy against Load Redistribution Attacks
The load redistribution attack considers the actual equipment configuration and operation of the power system, and poses a threat to the safe and stable operation of the power system by tampering with load measurements.

In this study, the interplay of dipolar dynamics and ionic charge transport in MOF compounds is investigated. Synthesizing the novel structure CFA‐25 with integrated freely rotating dipolar groups, local and macroscopic effects, including interactions with Cs cations are explored.

Stable topologies of the event horizon [PDF]
In our previous work, it was shown that the topology of an event horizon (EH) is determined by the past endpoints of the EH. A torus EH (the collision of two EH) is caused by the two-dimensional (one-dimensional) set of the endpoints. In the present article, we examine the stability of the topology of the EH.

A novel phthalocyanine (PC)‐based metal–organic framework (MOFs) is synthesized using ditopic PC linkers obtained through regioselective statistical condensation. The resulting MOF exhibits significant improvements in electronic absorption, thereby enhancing the material's performance in light harvesting and energy conversion.
