DigiChrom: A Domain Ontology for Semantic Representation of Trivalent Chromium Platings and Its Large Language Model‐Based Alignment With Multiple Mid‐Level Ontologies

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
Digitalizing electroplating requires both domain knowledge and interoperability. This work introduces PlatOn, a domain ontology for trivalent chromium plating and coating characterization, and a hybrid pipeline that aligns it to a mid‐level reference ontology by combining eight similarity metrics with language model reasoning. Expert‐validated mappings

You Can Act Locally With Efficiency: Influential User Identification in Mobile Social Networks

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2017
As mobile social networks grow rapidly, influential user identification has attracted much more attention. Previous studies either need large message overhead to achieve global maxima in influence computation or focus on relatively stable network ...

DNA‐Templated 2D Heterostructures as Phototriggered Dynamic Nanohybrids: From Releasing Molecular Loads to Controlling Enzyme Biocatalytic Function

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
DNA strands are employed both as dynamic linkers and nanoscale templates for the integration of Ag2S nanoparticles on MoS2, which in turn imparted photothermal responsiveness; this feature permits the selective cargo (fluorophore, quantum dots or an enzyme) release from the MoS2 surface in response to local heat induced by light irradiation.

Stable Incremental Underwater Object Detection via Adaptive Representation Routing and Topology-Preserved Replay

open access: yesJournal of Marine Science and Engineering
Incremental object detection (IOD) is critical for autonomous underwater perception, where detectors deployed on long-duration underwater platforms must continuously adapt to evolving marine environments while retaining previously learned recognition and

An approach to build stable spanning tree topology

open access: yesEUROCON'2001. International Conference on Trends in Communications. Technical Program, Proceedings (Cat. No.01EX439), 2002
This paper considers stability problems regarding topology produced by spanning tree algorithm in transparent bridged networks, and presents an approach to build stable spanning tree structure that is not dependent on a root bridge. This approach rely on tuning spanning-tree port cost in a way that produced topology is resistible to possible attacks or

Exploring an Alternative to mRNA Vaccine Cold Chain Storage: MRNA‐Lipid Nanoparticle Stability When Dried in a Polymer Matrix

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
The nanostructure, size, and function of mRNA‐loaded lipid nanoparticles are evaluated before drying, within polymer microneedles, and after rehydration. The results reveal the polymer and LNP loadings required to recover nanostructure and preserve the delivery performance in dry‐state formulations.

A Moving Target Defense Strategy against Load Redistribution Attacks

open access: yesZhongguo dianli
The load redistribution attack considers the actual equipment configuration and operation of the power system, and poses a threat to the safe and stable operation of the power system by tampering with load measurements.

Particles as stable topological solitons

open access: yesJournal of Physics: Conference Series, 2012
We discuss a model for charged particles and their fields where mass is field energy only, charge appears as a topological quantum number, photons are Goldstone bosons of spontaneous symmetry breaking, spin and chirality are described as topological charge of solitons interacting by Coulomb and Lorentz forces. The model is U(l) gauge invariant.
