Computational Approach to the $SC_{231}$ Consecutive-Pattern-Avoiding Stack Sort
Defant and Zheng introduced a consecutive-pattern-avoiding stack sort map $SC_σ$, where the stack must avoid a consecutive pattern $σ$. Seidel and Sun disproved a conjecture in Defant and Zheng's paper about the maximum sort-number of a length $n$ permutation under $SC_{231}$. In this paper, we compute sort-numbers for each permutation of length up to $

When gait isn't straight forward: how do you assess the ability to turn?
For people with Parkinson’s Disease (PD), difficulty turning is a notorious cause of freezing and falls (Bloem et al, 2001; Stack and Ashburn, 1999; Nieuwboer et al, 1998; Yekutiel, 1993; Giladi et al, 1992) and may lead to a physiotherapy referral. What

Systematic Exploration of 3D Concrete Printing Parameters for Conformal Printing on Sloped Surfaces
A conformal slicing algorithm is developed for robotic 3D concrete printing (3DCP) on sloped surfaces as a first step toward printing slab‐on‐grade foundations on uneven terrain. Systematic experiments quantify the effects of nozzle speed, extrusion rate, and toolpath direction on filament dimension and stability.

UBIQUITOUS FERTILITY NUMBERS OF CONSECUTIVE TWIN-PATTERN-AVOIDING STACK-SORTING MAPS
In [9], Kemeklis proved that every positive integer f is a fertility number for a consecutive length 3 pattern-avoiding stack-sorting map. We build upon this work and prove that every positive integer f is a fertility number for a stack-sorting map that avoids any set of two consecutive length 3 patterns.
