Thermal radiation effect on MHD stagnation point flow with partial slip

open access: yesInternational Journal of Thermofluids
The coupled effect of MHD stagnation point flow and thermal radiation over a shrinking sheet with partial slip is explored. The existence of dual solutions is investigated and studied for velocity, temperature and velocity gradient profiles.

On a class of unsteady three-dimensional Navier Stokes solutions relevant to rotating disc flows: Threshold amplitudes and finite time singularities [PDF]

open access: yes
A class of exact steady and unsteady solutions of the Navier Stokes equations in cylindrical polar coordinates is given. The flows correspond to the motion induced by an infinite disc rotating with constant angular velocity about the z-axis in a fluid ...

Multimodal Chromatography in the Downstream Processing of mAb‐Based Products: Mechanisms, Strategies, and Applications

open access: yesBiotechnology and Bioengineering, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Multimodal chromatography has emerged as a powerful tool for the purification of monoclonal antibodies (mAbs) and their derivatives—including antibody fragments (Fabs), Fc‐fusions, bispecific (BsAb), and antibody–drug conjugates (ADCs)—offering enhanced selectivity through the integration of ionic, hydrophobic, hydrogen‐bonding, and π–π ...

Mixed convection of the stagnation-point flow towards a stretching vertical permeable sheet [PDF]

open access: yes, 2007
An analysis was done for the steady two-dimensional stagnation-point mixed convection flow of an incompressible viscous fluid towards a stretching vertical permeable sheet in its own plane.

Consumer Responses to Physical, Digital and Integrative Sustainability Strategies in the Apparel Industry: A Systematic Review

open access: yesBusiness Strategy and the Environment, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT The apparel industry is one of the world's most profitable sectors but also among the most environmentally damaging. Growing sustainability pressures have led companies to adopt diverse strategies to reduce their impact, yet no single study has systematically analysed these approaches or their consumer implications.

Similarity solutions for the stagnation-point flow and heat transfer over a nonlinearly stretching/shrinking sheet [PDF]

open access: yes, 2011
This paper presents a numerical analysis of a stagnation-point flow towards a nonlinearly stretching/shrinking sheet immersed in a viscous fluid. The stretching/shrinking velocity and the external flow velocity impinges normal to the stretching/shrinking

Think Global, Act Local? Fortune 500 Business Strategies for Sustainable Cities and Communities (SDG 11)

open access: yesBusiness Strategy and the Environment, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT The role of business towards achieving the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) has been well established. However, SDG contextualization continues to pose a conundrum, particularly for firms operating in multiple contexts. This becomes even more problematic in the case of SDG 11, the only goal in the sustainable development agenda directly

A new flow model for highly separated airfoil flows at low speeds [PDF]

open access: yes
An analytical model for separated airfoil flows is presented which is based on experimentally observed physical phenomena. These include a free stagnation point aft of the airfoil and a standing vortex in the separated region.
