Experimental Data on Stagnation-Point Gas Injection Cooling on a Hemisphere-Cone in a Hypersonic Arc Tunnel [PDF]
Exploratory tests were made to determine the reduction of heat transfer resulting from ejection of gases at the stagnation point on a hemisphere-cone at a nominal Mach number of about 9 and at stagnation enthalpies up to 1600 BTU per pound.

Journal of Advanced Manufacturing and Processing, EarlyView.ABSTRACT Mixing performance in a laminar flow with a mixing Reynolds number less than 10 is greatly affected by the geometry of the impeller blades, and how to generate axial flow is important. The authors developed a new AM impeller with a low production cost by combining simple pitched paddle impellers in multiple stages.

The simple mono‐NBDs served as suitable model systems to investigate the underlying absorption and switching characteristics.
