Optimizing jojoba oil methanolysis of cis‐13‐docosenol fatty alcohol to unveil its immunomodulatory potential: a circular biorefinery perspective

open access: yesBiofuels, Bioproducts and Biorefining, EarlyView.
Abstract The sustainable production of jojoba oil derivatives depends on research and development focused on eco‐friendly valorization processes. This study establishes optimal conditions for converting jojoba oil into jojobyl alcohols, which is a key step in realizing its economic potential.

Two-phase choked flow of subcooled nitrogen through a slit [PDF]

open access: yes
Two-phase choked flow rate and pressure distribution data are reported for subcooled nitrogen flowing through a slit. The slip was a narrow rectangular passage of equal length and width. The inlet stagnation pressure ranged from slightly above saturation

Anaerobic digestion of olive oil industry waste with a jacketed reactor heated by an autothermal process

open access: yesBiofuels, Bioproducts and Biorefining, EarlyView.
Abstract A comprehensive valorization of waste generated from the olive oil manufacturing industry and olive grove pruning was conducted. Anaerobic digestion of the sludge waste from the olive industry was performed in stirred tank reactors under mesophilic conditions to remove volatile solids and to generate biogas.

The Stagnation Regime of the New Keynesian Model and Current US Policy [PDF]

open access: yes
In Evans, Guse, and Honkapohja (2008) the intended steady state is locally but not globally stable under adaptive learning, and unstable deflationary paths can arise after large pessimistic shocks to expectations. In the current paper a modified model is

Graduates' conceptions of meaningful work

open access: yesBritish Educational Research Journal, EarlyView.
Abstract This paper explores how meaningful work is conceptualised by recent graduates. Whilst the imperative to maximise economic returns from higher education (HE) endures in HE policy, less attention is given to how meaningful work is and its relationship to values and identities.

Dinucleoside Polyphosphates in Cellular Signaling: Function and Evolution Across Life

open access: yesBioEssays, EarlyView.
Although discovered more than 50 years ago, the cellular functions of Ap4A and related dinucleotides remain largely enigmatic. To address this knowledge gap, we organized a conference showcasing recent research that highlights the critical role of Ap4A as a global regulator across all domains of life.
