Neutrophil‐Mimetic MRI Enables Ultra‐Early Detection of Vascular Inflammation After Stroke

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
In this study, we developed neutrophil‐mimetic MRI probes that detect ultra‐early neuroinflammation following ischemic stroke by targeting E‐selectin. Within seconds of their injection, these microparticles mimic initial leukocyte adhesion to the activated cerebral endothelium.

Steady free surface flows induced by a submerged ring source or sink

open access: yes, 2012
The steady axisymmetric flow induced by a ring sink (or source) submerged in an unbounded inviscid fluid is computed and the resulting deformation of the free surface is obtained.

Adaptable Covalent Organic Framework‐Hydrogel Microneedles for Glucose‐Responsive Isoliquiritigenin Delivery in Diabetic Wound Therapy

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
We develop a covalent organic framework‐loaded Traditional Chinese Medicine monomer nanodrug delivery system (ISL@bCOF) via boron‐oxygen bonds, a smart response to glucose for delivering AI‐driven isoliquiritigenin (ISL) targeting ZBP1. This dynamic release mechanism, combined with transdermal delivery technology via potent microneedles, can modulate ...

Bioconvection effect in the Carreau nanofluid with Cattaneo–Christov heat flux using stagnation point flow in the entropy generation: Micromachines level study

open access: yesOpen Physics, 2023
The addition of gyrotactic microbes in the nanoparticles is essential to embellish the thermal efficiency of many systems such as microbial fuel cells, bacteria-powered micro-mixers, micro-volumes like microfluidics devices, enzyme biosensor, and chip ...

Stable Protein‐Based G‐Quadruplex‐Derived Supramolecular Bioinks as Tunable ECM‐Mimetic Constructs Assembled by Combining Non‐Covalent and Covalent Strategies

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Harnessing the synergistic interplay of supramolecular self‐assembly, under macromolecular crowding conditions, and enzymatic‐mediated covalent crosslinking toward a stable protein‐based G‐quadruplex‐derived supramolecular bioink. This bioinspired strategy enables the biofabrication of complex and tunable ECM‐mimetic constructs, providing a platform ...

Oblique stagnation-point flow of ternary hybrid nanofluid towards a shrinking surface [PDF]

open access: yes
The oblique stagnation-point flow of a ternary hybrid nanofluid towards a shrinking surface is studied numerically in this paper. A similarity transformation was used to convert the governing equations into a set of ordinary differential equations, which

Modeling heat transport in nanofluids with stagnation point flow using fractional calculus

open access: yes, 2016
This paper studies the flow and heat transfer of power-law type nanofluids with stagnation point flow past a porous sheet. The governing equation of temperature involving spatial fractional derivative is used to investigate the anomalous heat diffusion ...
