Stagnation-point flow of Williamson fluid along a stretched plate with convective thermal condition and activation energy

open access: yes, 2023
The implication of a stagnation-point flow together with the influence of activation energy in a Williamson fluid, which consists of tiny particles, over an expansive plate is analyzed numerically.

Ferroelectric Dynamic‐Field‐Driven Nucleation and Growth Model for Predictive Materials‐To‐Circuit Co‐Design

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
This study presents a compact dynamic‐field‐driven nucleation and growth (DFNG) model that captures ferroelectric switching behavior under arbitrary voltage waveforms. It enables extraction of time‐dependent domain wall velocity and growth dimensionality, which can then be extended to device‐level modeling.

MHD THREE-DIMENSIONAL STAGNATION-POINT FLOW OF A MICROPOLAR FLUID

open access: yes, 2011
The steady three-dimensional stagnation-point flow of an electrically conducting micropolar fluid in the absence and in the presence of a uniform external electromagnetic field (E0,H0) is analyzed and some physical situations are examined. In particular,

Characterization of Droplet Formation in Ultrasonic Spray Coating: Influence of Ink Formulation Using Phase Doppler Anemometry and Machine Learning

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
This study explores how machine learning models, trained on small experimental datasets obtained via Phase Doppler Anemometry (PDA), can accurately predict droplet size (D32) in ultrasonic spray coating (USSC). By capturing the influence of ink complexity (solvent, polymer, nanoparticles), power, and flow rate, the model enables precise droplet control

OFF-STAGNATION POINT TESTING IN PLASMA FACILITY

open access: yes, 2015
Reentry space vehicles face extreme conditions of heat §ux when inter-acting with the atmosphere at hypersonic velocities. Stagnation point heat §ux is normally used as a reference for Thermal Protection Ma-terial (TPS) design; however, many critical ...

Aerosol Jet Printed Polymer‐Free High Aspect Ratio Quantum Dot Films for Enhanced Color Conversion

open access: yesAdvanced Optical Materials, EarlyView.
Polymer‐free quantum dot color conversion layers are aerosol jet printed at high aspect ratio by tuning the aerosol focus ratio to induce in‐flight droplet drying. Contact‐line pinning suppresses lateral spreading, enabling ∼10 µm‐thick films at ∼50 µm widths with blue light leakage below 0.25% and conversion efficiency approaching 18%, demonstrated ...

Real Income Stagnation of Countries, 1960-2001 [PDF]

open access: yes
We examine the phenomenon of real-income stagnation in a large cross-section of countries during the last four decades. Stagnation is defined as negligible or negative growth extending over a number of years.

Nonsteady Three-Dimensional Stagnation-Point Flow

open access: yes, 1971
The equations of motion for the three-dimensional nonsteady flow of incompressible viscous fluid in the vicinity of a forward stagnation point are reduced to three ordinary differential equations for a potential flow field chosen to vary inversely as a ...

Numerical investigation of magnetohydrodynamic stagnation point flow with variable properties

open access: yesAlexandria Engineering Journal, 2016
This article is concerned with the two-dimensional flow of Powell–Eyring fluid with variable thermal conductivity. The flow is caused due to a stretching cylinder. Temperature dependent thermal conductivity is considered.
