The role of dopants in mitigating the chemo‐mechanical degradation of Ni‐rich cathode: A critical review

open access: yesEcoEnergy, EarlyView.
Factors that contribute to chemo‐mechanical degradation in Ni‐rich cathode have been identified as phase transformation, cation mixing, transition metal dissolution, surface reconstruction, crack formation, and oxygen evolution. These degradation factors could be mitigated via elemental substitution.

Technetium ‐ The Unknown Center of the Periodic Table

open access: yesEuropean Journal of Inorganic Chemistry, Volume 28, Issue 9, March 21, 2025.
It took 78 years from Mendeleev's proposal of an existence of “eka‐manganese” (1869) until it was finally named as technetium in 1947. Another 78 years have passed since then. A good occasion to pinpoint what we know and what we still don't know of this element in the center of the periodic table.

Melting heat transfer and induced magnetic field effects on flow of water based nanofluid over a rotating disk with variable thickness

open access: yesResults in Physics, 2018
The present article examines the effect of induced magnetic field in stagnation point flow of nanofluid by a rotating disk with variable thickness. Nanofluid comprises water and aluminium oxide.

Evolution of low-mode asymmetries introduced by x-ray P2 drive asymmetry during double shell implosions on the SG facility

open access: yesNuclear Fusion
Double shell capsule can provide a potential low-convergence to fusion ignition at relatively low temperature (∼3 keV). One of the main sources of degrading double shell implosion performance is the low-mode asymmetries.

Contactless Conductivity Detection for Capillary Electrophoresis—Developments From 2020 to 2024

open access: yesELECTROPHORESIS, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT The review covering the development of capillary electrophoresis with capacitively coupled contactless conductivity detection from 2020 to 2024 is the latest in a series going back to 2004. The article considers applications employing conventional capillaries and planar lab‐on‐chip devices as well as fundamental and technical developments of ...

Heat propagation phenomenon of compressed natural gas /air premixed laminar flame impinging on a flat surface

open access: yesCase Studies in Thermal Engineering
In this paper the heat transfer characteristics have been determined theoretically using heat propagation phenomena of compressed natural gas (CNG)/air premixed laminar flames impinging on flat surfaces. Effects of varied equivalence ratios (Ф), Reynolds

Novel Atmospherically Plasma Sprayed Micro Porous Layer for Anion Exchange Membrane Water Electrolysis Operating With Supporting Electrolyte

open access: yesElectrochemical Science Advances, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Anion exchange membrane water electrolysis (AEMWE) is one of the most promising candidates for green hydrogen production needed for the de‐fossilization of the global economy. As AEMWE can operate at high efficiency without expensive Platinum Group Metal (PGM) catalysts or titanium cell components, required in state‐of‐the‐art proton exchange ...
