PLUME-MoM 1.0: A new integral model of volcanic plumes based on the method of moments [PDF]
In this paper a new integral mathematical model for volcanic plumes, named PLUME-MoM, is presented. The model describes the steady-state dynamics of a plume in a 3-D coordinate system, accounting for continuous variability in particle size distribution ...

The Corolla Polynomial for spontaneously broken Gauge Theories
In [1, 2, 3] the Corolla Polynomial $ \mathcal C (\Gamma) \in \mathbb C [a_{h_1}, \ldots, a_{h_{\left \vert \Gamma^{[1/2]} \right \vert}}] $ was introduced as a graph polynomial in half-edge variables $ \left \{ a_h \right \} _{h \in \Gamma^{[1/2 ...

Field parametric geostatistics - An alternative to tackle gold grade estimations
High anomalous grades are very common in gold deposits, whose presence requires careful treatment to prevent overestimation of metal content. Mineral resource analysts have worked on the estimation of several gold deposits, and none of the classical ...
