Electroweak parameters of the Z0 resonance and the standard model
Media temporalities of the elderly : evolutions in stability This article shows the context of analysis and the first results of a research on media temporalities of the elderly. Several works have finely analysed the diversity of the media practices and studied meanings of media uses.

Has the origin of the third-family fermion masses been determined?
Precision measurements of the Higgs couplings are, for the first time, directly probing the mechanism of fermion mass generation. The purpose of this work is to determine to what extent these measurements can distinguish between the tree-level mechanism ...

Controlled flavor violation in the MSSM from a unified Δ(27) flavor symmetry
We study the phenomenology of a unified supersymmetric theory with a flavor symmetry Δ(27). The model accommodates quark and lepton masses, mixing angles and CP phases.

Towards a new paradigm for quark-lepton unification
The quark and charged lepton mass patterns upset their naïve unification. In this paper, a new approach to solve this problem is proposed. Model-independently, we find that a successful unification can be achieved.

The Character of Z-pole Data Constraints on Standard Model Parameters [PDF]
Despite the impressive precision of the Z-pole measurements made at LEP and SLC, the allowed region for the principle Standard Model parameters responsible for radiative corrections (the mass of the Higgs, the mass of the top and alpha(Mz)) is still ...

Lepton flavor violation and neutrino masses from A 5 and CP in the non-universal MSSM
We analyze the phenomenological consequences of embedding a flavor symmetry based on the groups A 5 and CP in a supersymmetric framework. We concentrate on the leptonic sector, where two different residual symmetries are assumed to be conserved at ...

We propose a simple clockwork model of flavor which successfully generates the Standard Model flavor hierarchies from random order-one couplings. With very few parameters we achieve distributions of models in excellent agreement with observation.

Inverting the Supersymmetric Standard Model Spectrum: from Physical to Lagrangian Ino Parameters [PDF]
We examine the possibility of recovering the supersymmetric (and soft supersymmetry breaking) Lagrangian parameters as direct {\em analytical} expressions of appropriate physical masses, for the unconstrained (but CP and R-parity conserving) minimal ...

Influence of cheese ripening on the viscoelastic behaviour of edam cheese
The paper deals with the study of the effect of cheese ripening on parameters of a rheological model of cheese mechanical behaviour. The Edam cheese has been tested by the method of the Hopkinson Split Pressure Bar.
