Standard tomographic analyses ignore model uncertainty. It is assumed that a given model generated the data and the task is to estimate the quantum state, or a subset of parameters within that model.

Addressing the CKM unitarity problem with a vector-like up quark
We point out that hints of deviations from unitarity in the first row of the CKM matrix may be explained by the presence of a single vector-like top. We study how the stringent experimental constraints arising from CP Violation in the kaon sector and ...

Implications of Higgs discovery for the strong CP problem and unification
A Z 2 symmetry that extends the weak interaction, SU(2) L → SU(2) L ×SU(2)′, and the Higgs sector, H(2) → H(2, 1) + H ′(1, 2), yields a Standard Model quartic coupling that vanishes at scale v ′ = 〈H ′〉 ≫ 〈H〉.

Controlled fermion mixing and FCNCs in a ∆(27) 3+1 Higgs Doublet Model
We propose a 3+1 Higgs Doublet Model based on the ∆(27) family symmetry supplemented by several auxiliary cyclic symmetries leading to viable Yukawa textures for the Standard Model fermions, consistent with the observed pattern of fermion masses and ...

Heavy particles and the ϱ parameter in the standard model [PDF]
Abstract A new formalism is presented for the calculation of the contribution δϱ to ϱ = Mw2/Mz2cos2θw from heavy particles transforming according to arbitrary representations of SU(2) × U(1). A conjecture for the necessary and sufficient conditions that δϱ⩾0 for all values of masses and mixing angles within a particular multiplet is formulated.

We compute the isospin-violating part a μ HVP , 38 $$ {a}_{\mu}^{\textrm{HVP},38} $$ of the hadronic-vacuum-polarization (HVP) contribution to the muon (g − 2) in lattice QCD at the SU(3)f-symmetric point where M π = M K ≃ 416 MeV. All diagrams involving

Perturbative contributions to Δ α 5 M Z 2 $$ \Delta {\alpha}^{(5)}\left({M}_Z^2\right) $$
We compute a theoretically driven prediction for the hadronic contribution to the electromagnetic running coupling at the Z scale using lattice QCD and state-of-the-art perturbative QCD.

Comparison of cosmological models using standard rulers and candles
In this paper, we used standard rulers and standard candles (separately and jointly) to explore five popular dark energy models under assumption of spatial flatness of the Universe.

SU(3) Predictions of $B\to PP$ Decays in the Standard Model [PDF]
With SU(3) symmetry one only needs 13 hadronic parameters to describe $B\to PP$ decays in the Standard Model. When annihilation contributions are neglected, only 7 hadronic parameters are needed.

ABSTRACT Objective To evaluate selumetinib exposure using therapeutic drug monitoring (TDM) in pediatric patients with neurofibromatosis type 1 (NF1) and plexiform neurofibromas (PN), assess interpatient pharmacokinetic variability, and explore the relationship between drug exposure, clinical response, and adverse effects.
