Gamma/delta T cells as cellular vehicles for anti-tumor immunity
Adoptive cellular immunotherapy as a new paradigm to treat cancers is exemplified by the FDA approval of six chimeric antigen receptor-T cell therapies targeting hematological malignancies in recent years.

Asymmetric Star Formation Efficiency Due to Ram Pressure Stripping
Previous works have shown that a dense cluster environment affects satellite galaxy properties and accelerates or truncates their evolutionary processes.

The Star Clusters in the Irregular Galaxy NGC 4449 [PDF]
We examine the star clusters in the irregular galaxy NGC 4449. We use a near-infrared spectrum and broad-band images taken with the HST to place a limit of 8--15 Myrs on the age of the bright central ojbect in NGC 4449. Its luminosity and size suggest that it is comparable to young super star clusters.

MOLECULAR CLOUDS TOWARD THE SUPER STAR CLUSTER NGC 3603; POSSIBLE EVIDENCE FOR A CLOUD–CLOUD COLLISION IN TRIGGERING THE CLUSTER FORMATION [PDF]
We present new large field observations of molecular clouds with NANTEN2 toward the super star cluster NGC 3603 in the transitions 12CO(J = 2–1, J = 1–0) and 13CO(J = 2–1, J = 1–0).

Surfaceome: a new era in the discovery of immune evasion mechanisms of circulating tumor cells
In the era of immunotherapies, many patients either do not respond or eventually develop resistance. We propose to pave the way for proteomic analysis of surface‐expressed proteins called surfaceome, of circulating tumor cells. This approach seeks to identify immune evasion mechanisms and discover potential therapeutic targets. Circulating tumor cells (

Clustered Star Formation: A Review [PDF]
In this contribution I present a review of star formation in clusters. I begin by discussing the various definitions of what constitutes a star cluster, and then compare the outcome of star formation (IMF, multiplicity, mass segregation and structure and morphology) in different star-forming regions.

On the rotation of nuclear star clusters formed by cluster inspirals [PDF]
Nuclear Star Clusters (NSCs) are commonly observed in the centres of most galactic nuclei, including our own Milky Way. While their study can reveal important information about the build-up of the innermost regions of galaxies, the physical processes ...

The Promiscuous Nature of Stars in Clusters
The recent availability of special-purpose computers designed for calculating gravitational interactions of N bodies at extremely high speed has provided the means to model globular clusters on a star-by-star basis for the first time. By endeavoring to make the N-body codes that operate on these machines as realistic as possible, the addition of ...

Circulating tumor cells: advancing personalized therapy in small cell lung cancer patients
Small cell lung cancer (SCLC) is an aggressive form of lung cancer that spreads rapidly to secondary sites such as the brain and liver. Cancer cells circulating in the blood, “circulating tumor cells” (CTCs), have demonstrated prognostic value in SCLC, and evaluating biomarkers on CTCs could guide treatment decisions such as for PARP inhibitors ...

Old star clusters: Bench tests of low mass stellar models
Old star clusters in the Milky Way and external galaxies have been (and still are) traditionally used to constrain the age of the universe and the timescales of galaxy formation.
