Energy-Efficient Aerial STAR-RIS-Aided Computing Offloading and Content Caching for Wireless Sensor Networks

open access: yes
Unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV)-based wireless sensor networks (WSNs) hold great promise for supporting ground-based sensors due to the mobility of UAVs and the ease of establishing line-of-sight links.

Linking neurogenesis, oligodendrogenesis, and myelination defects to neurodevelopmental disruption in primary mitochondrial disorders

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Mitochondrial remodeling shapes neural and glial lineage progression by matching metabolic supply with demand. Elevated OXPHOS supports differentiation and myelin formation, while myelin compaction lowers mitochondrial dependence, revealing mitochondria as key drivers of developmental energy adaptation.

An isoform of 14‐3‐3 protein regulates transbilayer lipid movement at the plasma membrane

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Loss of 14‐3‐3ζ in CHO cells confers resistance to exogenous phosphatidylserine (PS) and impairs endocytosis‐independent inward flip‐flop of fluorescent PS at the plasma membrane. RNAi‐mediated knockdown reproduces this defect, while no additive effect is seen in ATP11C‐deficient cells.

A delta-star-based multipoint fiber Bragg grating sensor network

open access: yes, 2011
—This work presents a novel delta-star architecture for large-scale multipoint fiber sensor networks with enhanced recon-figurable functionality. Unlike conventional star networks, the pro-posed network is divided into several delta regions, each ...

The ubiquitin ligase RNF115 is required for the clearance of damaged lysosomes

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Upon lysosomal rupture, an E3 ubiquitin ligase RNF115 translocates from the cytosol to the damaged lysosomal membrane. Moreover, RNF115 depletion impairs the clearance of damaged lysosomes, identifying it as a key regulator of lysosomal quality control.

Epigenetic blind spots – the role of DNA methylation dynamics in stem cell‐based models of embryogenesis

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Embryo‐like structures (stembryos) are an innovative tool, but they are hindered by experimental variability and limited developmental potential. DNA methylation is crucial for mammalian development, but its status in stembryo models is poorly characterized.

High-Precision Centroid Localization Algorithm for Star Sensor Under Strong Straylight Condition

open access: yesRemote Sensing
Star sensor is disturbed by strong straylight, which increases the gray level of the captured star map, and this leads to invalid detection of star points and affects the high-precision location of the centroid.

Satellite Angular Velocity Estimation Based on Star Images and Optical Flow Techniques

open access: yesSensors, 2013
An optical flow-based technique is proposed to estimate spacecraft angular velocity based on sequences of star-field images. It does not require star identification and can be thus used to also deliver angular rate information when attitude determination

Attitude determination software for a star sensor

open access: yes, 2010
There are a number of universities which are developing pico and nano satellite for research and studies and will continue to increase in the future. Most of them also have specific attitude determination methods and associated sensors, but still a ...
