Multi-Timescale Evaluation of Starlink Throughput
Proceedings of the 1st ACM Workshop on LEO Networking and Communication, 2023 Although Starlink has been rolled-out for several years, there is still a lack of knowledge regarding system details and performance characteristics. To address this, we perform a network layer measurement campaign utilizing precise times-Tamping to analyze throughput variations at multiple time scales, and infer system timing details.
