On Technetium Abundance in Late-type Stars [PDF]
Technetium abundances in the atmospheres of S- and C-stars are estimated by comparing the synthetic spectra and high dispersion observed spectra for the TcI λ 5924.47 region. It was found that reliable estimates are possible only for the pure S-stars and SC-stars. For the late carbon stars only the upper limit of the Tc abundance can be found.

Proteostasis and the gut microbiota play a key role in shaping host physiology. Microbiota‐derived metabolites, vitamins, and RNA modulate host proteostasis. Findings from model systems, including C. elegans, indicate microbes can either stabilize or disrupt host proteostasis.

On the Hydrogen Abundance in Wolf-Rayet Stars [PDF]
With a semiempirical NLTE-model in spherical geometry we investigate the hydrogen abundance in Wolf-Rayet stars. We find that the flux contribution of the H-Balmer to the He-Pickering lines lies between the usually applied approximate formulae for the optically thin and optically thick case.
