Fundamental parameters of the Ap-stars GO And, 84 UMa, and κ Psc [PDF]
Aims. The aim of this work is to determine fundamental parameters of three Ap stars, GO And (HD 4778), κ Psc (HD 220825), and 84 UMa (HD 120198), using spectroscopic techniques. By analysing these stars, we complete the sample of Ap stars for which fundamental parameters have additionally been derived by means of interferometry.

Atmospheric and Fundamental Parameters of Eight Nearby Multiple Stars
Abstract We present the complete set of atmospheric and fundamental parameters, in addition to the masses, for the individual components of eight stellar systems. The list of the systems, whose orbital solutions were published recently, includes seven binaries (HIP 14524, HIP 16025, HIP 46199, HIP 47791, HIP 60444, HIP 61100, HIP 73085 ...

Fundamental parameters and infrared excesses of Hipparcos stars [PDF]
We derive the fundamental parameters (temperature and luminosity) of 107 619 Hipparcos stars and place these stars on a true Hertzsprung-Russell diagram. This is achieved by comparing BT-Settl model atmospheres to spectral energy distributions (SEDs) created from Hipparcos, Tycho, SDSS, DENIS, 2MASS, MSX, AKARI, IRAS and WISE data. We also identify and

Gaia FGK benchmark stars: Fundamental Teff and logg of the third version [PDF]
Large spectroscopic surveys devoted to the study of the Milky Way, including Gaia, use automated pipelines to determine the atmospheric parameters of millions of stars. The Gaia FGK benchmark stars are reference stars with and derived through fundamental

FUNDAMENTAL PARAMETERS OF MAIN-SEQUENCE STARS IN AN INSTANT WITH MACHINE LEARNING [PDF]
ABSTRACT Owing to the remarkable photometric precision of space observatories like Kepler, stellar and planetary systems beyond our own are now being characterized en masse for the first time. These characterizations are pivotal for endeavors such as searching for Earth-like planets and solar twins, understanding the mechanisms that ...

Fundamental stellar parameters of benchmark stars from CHARA interferometry [PDF]
Context.Benchmark stars are crucial as validating standards for current as well as future large stellar surveys of the Milky Way. However, the number of suitable metal-poor benchmark stars is currently limited, owing to the difficulty in determining reliable effective temperatures (Teff) in this regime.Aims.We aim to construct a new set of metal-poor ...
