Digital implementation of continuous-time observers for nonlinear networked control systems
We propose a digital implementation of continuous-time observers to networked control systems. We introduce a sufficiently small constant time step to construct the Euler model of continuous-time observers parameterized by this time step.

Model-Based Observer Design Considering Unequal Measurement Delays
State observers are essential components of a modern control system. It is often designed based on a mathematical model of the process, thus requiring detailed process knowledge.

Physical observers, T-vacuum and Unruh like effect in the radiation dominated early universe
We report the existence of an Unruh like effect, for physical observers (cosmo- logical and comoving observers) in the radiation dominated early universe, which is possible due to the discovery of a new vacuum state (referred here as the T−vacuum).

Load Torque Observer for BLDC Motors Based on a HOSM Differentiator
An observer is proposed for a trapezoidal brushless DC motor composed of a cascade connection of a reduced-order Luenberger observer and a high-order sliding mode (HOSM) differentiator. This configuration can estimate the angular velocity and reconstruct

Non-Recursive Fixed-Time Convergence Observer and Extended State Observer
In this paper, non-recursive fixed-time convergence (FxTC) observers were proposed to deal with missions, such as state estimation and tracking differentiation. The observers were designed based on the time-scale paradigm, such that the parameters tuning

Synchronization control of fractional order linear systems based on state estimation
This study focuses on the synchronization control of a class of fractional-order linear systems with orders between(1, 2), based on state observers. State observers and feedback controllers are designed to estimate the unknown states of the response ...

State and Unknown Terrain Estimation for Planetary Rovers via Interval Observers
Herein, the problem of state and unknown terrain estimation is considered, where the unknown planetary terrain parameters, e.g., terrain stiffness and ground height, are inferred from how it affects rover motion through vehicle‐terrain interaction.
