Diversity and complexity in neural organoids
Neural organoid research aims to expand genetic diversity on one side and increase tissue complexity on the other. Chimeroids integrate multiple donor genomes within single organoids. Self‐organising multi‐identity organoids, exogenous cell seeding, or enforced assembly of region‐specific organoids contribute to tissue complexity.

Single-Piece State-Space Behavioral Models for IC Output Buffers [PDF]
In this paper enhancements of parametric behavioral models for the output buffers of digital ICs are explored. A model based on a single-piece structure, which offers improved accuracy in describing state transition events for arbitrary load conditions ...

A Deep State Space Model for Rainfall‐Runoff Simulations
The classical way of studying the rainfall‐runoff processes in the water cycle relies on conceptual or physically‐based hydrologic models. Deep learning (DL) has recently emerged as an alternative and blossomed in the hydrology community for rainfall ...

Plasma membranes contain dynamic nanoscale domains that organize lipids and receptors. Because viruses operate at similar scales, this architecture shapes early infection steps, including attachment, receptor engagement, and entry. Using influenza A virus and HIV‐1 as examples, we highlight how receptor nanoclusters, multivalent glycan interactions ...

How (i)rrational are we? A case of Croatian inflation
This paper examines the validity of the rational expectations hypothesis (REH) in the case of Croatian consumers and their inflation estimates. The added value of this paper in comparison to previous similar studies lies in the state space methodology ...

Embryo‐like structures (stembryos) are an innovative tool, but they are hindered by experimental variability and limited developmental potential. DNA methylation is crucial for mammalian development, but its status in stembryo models is poorly characterized.

Septin 9 polybasic domains couple phosphoinositide‐rich membrane binding to centrosome positioning, Golgi organization, and microtubule acetylation to control epithelial polarity. Their loss disrupts this axis, causing centrosome mispositioning, Golgi fragmentation, reduced microtubule acetylation, and polarity inversion via upregulation of the ...

Bootstrap Approximation to Prediction MSE for State-Space Models with Estimated Parameters
We propose a simple but general bootstrap method for estimating the Prediction Mean Square Error (PMSE) of the state vector predictors when the unknown model parameters are estimated from the observed series.
