Improving power oscillation damping using static synchronous series compensator
2013 Annual IEEE India Conference (INDICON), 2013In this paper a static synchronous series compensator (SSSC) is used to improve the small signal stability of a power system. A 48-step voltage source inverter (VSI) is used for the implementation of SSSC. The PI controller is used to regulate the dc link voltage of VSI.
