Nonlinear Adaptive NeuroFuzzy Wavelet Based Damping Control Paradigm for SSSC
Static Synchronous Series Compensator (SSSC) is a series compensating Flexible AC Transmission System (FACTS) controller with primary objective of power flow control on a line by injecting a voltage in series with transmission line.

Series and Shunt Reactive compensation can be used to improve voltage stability. The L‐index and Fast Voltage Stability Index are used to evaluate stability. Cost of reactive compensation is included directly in the optimization process. Multi‐objective optimization determines the optimal sizing of FACTS devices.

ABSTRACT Reactive power compensation is now a challenging issue in maintaining adequate power quality and improving the performance of the transmission system. Many researchers have focused on the behavior of voltage in the unbalanced state, and the majority of the studies have been done with STATCOM. In this study, the increasing power demand in power

The impedance sensitivity of the doubly‐fed induction generator (DFIG) grid‐connected system with series compensation is analysed using the Morris method and the extended Fourier amplitude sensitivity test (EFAST). A cooperative optimisation approach is proposed to adjust high‐sensitivity parameters, thereby suppressing sub‐synchronous oscillations ...
