Analysis of Static Transmission Error of Screw Compressor Rotors by a Rigid Model.
A numerical method of calculating the static transmission error of screw compressor rotors is presented. Factors such as profile errors, lead errors, bearing position errors, and misalignment of the rotors with respect to the rotational shafts are considered in the calculation. All compressor parts are assumed to be rigid.

Modeling of effects of technical errors on static and dynamic behavior of helical gear transmission
Abstract Materials of the present article are concerned with research related to identification of defects in a helical gearwheel of crossed helical gear pair, occurring as a result of certain operating modes and overloads, on such processes in a gearwheel as fatigue and wear of teeth.

Dynamic Torsional Stiffness of Reducers and Its Testing Method
The torsional stiffness of the reducer is commonly assumed to be static and tested using the hysteresis curve method. However, practical engineering experience shows that the torsional stiffness is dynamic rather than static, and the hysteresis curve ...

Static transmission error measurement of various gear-shaft systems by finite element analysis
Transmission error (TE) is a significant parameter related to gears vibration widely investigated by many authors using different approaches. However, in previous studies, spur and helical gears were mainly examined. There is a lack of studies addressed to double helical and herringbone gears and a comparison among several types of gearing with ...
