Statistical Accuracy of Approximate Filtering Methods
Abstract Estimating the statistics of the state of a dynamical system, from partial and noisy observations, is both mathematically challenging and finds wide application. Furthermore, the applications are of great societal importance, including problems such as probabilistic weather forecasting (Kalnay 2003) and prediction of ...

In this explorative study, the abundance of circular RNA molecules in bone marrow stem cells was found to be elevated in patients with high‐risk myelodysplastic neoplasms, and to be associated with an increased risk of progression to acute myeloid leukemia.

The notion of statistical weighted B $\mathcal{B}$-summability was introduced very recently (Kadak et al. in Appl. Math. Comput. 302:80–96, 2017).

Improved approximation algorithms for optimization problems in graphs with superlogarithmic treewidth [PDF]
In this paper we present two novel generic schemes for approximation algorithms for optimization to partial k-trees. Our first scheme yields deterministic polynomialtime algorithms achieving typically an approximation factor of k/ log n, where k

In the present work, we have identified a transcriptional signature based on the differential expression of six genes (BCL2&MAST4, HSH2D&LAT2, METRN&PITPNM2) that would facilitate the early detection of T‐cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (T‐ALL) patients prone to a poor treatment response and could be implemented at diagnosis, along with other risk ...

Korovkin-Type Approximation Theorems for Statistical Gauge Integrable Functions of Two Variables
In this work, we develop and investigate statistical extensions of gauge integrability and gauge summability for double sequences of functions of two real variables, formulated within the framework of deferred weighted means.

This study shows that lung adenocarcinomas exploit developmental branching morphogenesis to acquire a therapy resistant basal‐like tumour cell state. This process was found to be regulated by combined TP53 loss‐of‐function and type‐I interferon signalling, identifying a novel axis for biomarker and therapeutic target discovery.

We introduce the notion of asymptotically weighted statistical equivalence of order α in probability for sequences of positive linear operators and study it within a Korovkin-type approximation framework.

Combining osimertinib with the STING agonist ADU‐S100 activates innate and adaptive immunity to overcome the non‐inflamed microenvironment of Egfr‐mutant lung cancer. This combination increases NK and CD8+ T‐cell infiltration, associated with activation of the STING‐IRF3 pathway and local immunogenic cell death.
