Statistical distribution of components of energy eigenfunctions: from nearly-integrable to chaotic
We study the statistical distribution of components in the non-perturbative parts of energy eigenfunctions (EFs), in which main bodies of the EFs lie. Our numerical simulations in five models show that deviation of the distribution from the prediction of

Regular graphs maximize the variability of random neural networks [PDF]
In this work we study the dynamics of systems composed of numerous interacting elements interconnected through a random weighted directed graph, such as models of random neural networks.

Bone metastasis in prostate cancer (PCa) patients is a clinical hurdle due to the poor understanding of the supportive bone microenvironment. Here, we identify stearoyl‐CoA desaturase (SCD) as a tumor‐promoting enzyme and potential therapeutic target in bone metastatic PCa.

Hydraulic Fracturing Mechanism of Rock Mass under Stress-Damage-Seepage Coupling Effect
According to the damage evolution model of rock mass under stress-seepage coupling effect, the representative element theory is employed to describe the change law of rock mesostructure.

Kinetic theory of Onsager's vortices in two-dimensional hydrodynamics
Starting from the Liouville equation, and using a BBGKY-like hierarchy, we derive a kinetic equation for the point vortex gas in two-dimensional (2D) hydrodynamics, taking two-body correlations and collective effects into account.

Following high dose rate brachytherapy (HDR‐BT) for hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC), patients were classified as responders and nonresponders. Post‐therapy serum induced increased BrdU incorporation and Cyclin E expression of Huh7 and HepG2 cells in nonresponders, but decreased levels in responders.

A New Generalized Exponential Distribution: Properties and Applications
The exponential distribution is a popular statistical distribution to study the problems in lifetime and reliability theory. We proposed a new generalized exponential distribution, wherein exponentiated exponential and exponentiated generalized ...

The Calculation of Foundation Bed Reliability by Bearing Capacity (Shift) during Operation [PDF]
New methods of foundation bed reliability calculations by the criterion of the shift when the base is under the influence of horizontal (shifting) forces are made. Initial statistical information is limited.

A synthetic benzoxazine dimer derivative targets c‐Myc to inhibit colorectal cancer progression
Benzoxazine dimer derivatives bind to the bHLH‐LZ region of c‐Myc, disrupting c‐Myc/MAX complexes, which are evaluated from SAR analysis. This increases ubiquitination and reduces cellular c‐Myc. Impairing DNA repair mechanisms is shown through proteomic analysis.
