Survivin and Aurora Kinase A control cell fate decisions during mitosis
Aurora A interacts with survivin during mitosis and regulates its centromeric role. Loss of Aurora A activity mislocalises survivin, the CPC and BubR1, leading to disruption of the spindle checkpoint and triggering premature mitotic exit, which we refer to as ‘mitotic slippage’.

CDK11 inhibition stabilises the tumour suppressor p53 and triggers the production of an alternative p21WAF1 splice variant p21L, through the inactivation of the spliceosomal protein SF3B1. Unlike the canonical p21WAF1 protein, p21L is localised in the cytoplasm and has reduced cell cycle‐blocking activity.

Quaternion Statistical Submanifolds and Submersions
This paper aims to develop a general theory of quaternion Kahlerian statistical manifolds and to study quaternion CR-statistical submanifolds in such ambient manifolds.

Properties and Applications of Extended Hypergeometric Functions
In this article, we study several properties of extended Gauss hypergeometric and extended confluent hypergeometric functions. We derive several integrals, inequalities and establish relationship between these and other special functions.

A statistical distribution useful in product life-cycle modeling [PDF]
Starting from some recent results presented by Isaic â Maniu and Vodă (2008) regarding the Product Life â Cycle (PLC), we propose here an alternative statistical distribution in order to describe all four phases of a product life span.

Dynamics of Self-Propelled Particles Under Strong Confinement
We develop a statistical theory for the dynamics of non-aligning, non-interacting self-propelled particles confined in a convex box in two dimensions.

HDAC4 is degraded by the E3 ligase FBXW7. In colorectal cancer, FBXW7 mutations prevent HDAC4 degradation, leading to oxaliplatin resistance. Forced degradation of HDAC4 using a PROTAC compound restores drug sensitivity by resetting the super‐enhancer landscape, reprogramming the epigenetic state of FBXW7‐mutated cells to resemble oxaliplatin ...

Alpha-Power Pareto distribution: Its properties and applications.
In Statistical theory, inclusion of an additional parameter to standard distributions is a usual practice. In this study, a new distribution referred to as Alpha-Power Pareto distribution is introduced by including an extra parameter.

Dilemma of t-tests: Retaining or discarding choice and solutions [PDF]
The t-test theory has laid the foundation of modern statistics and it is one of the main contents of statistics. This theory can be found in all statistics textbooks and is at the core of almost all applied statistics courses.

Effect of chemotherapy on passenger mutations in metastatic colorectal cancer
Changes in passenger mutation load and predicted immunotherapy response after chemotherapy treatment. Tumor cells rich with passenger mutations have increased sensitivity to chemotherapy. Correlation of passenger mutations with neoantigen load suggests highly mutated clones promote a more effective response to immunotherapy, and therefore, first‐line ...
