Tau acetylation at K331 has limited impact on tau pathology in vivo
We mapped tau post‐translational modifications in humanized MAPT knock‐in mice and in amyloid‐bearing double knock‐in mice. Acetylation within the repeat domain, particularly around K331, showed modest increases under amyloid pathology. To test functional relevance, we generated MAPTK331Q knock‐in mice.

Statistical Analysis of Table-Tennis Ball Trajectories
In this work, the equations of motion for table-tennis balls were numerically solved on graphics processing units (GPUs) using Compute Unified Device Architecture (CUDA) for systematical statistical studies of the impact of ball size and weight, as well ...

A Link between Approximation Theory and Summability Methods via Four-Dimensional Infinite Matrices
In this study, we present a link between approximation theory and summability methods by constructing bivariate Bernstein-Kantorovich type operators on an extended domain with reparametrized knots.

Monte Carlo integration on GPU [PDF]
We use a graphics processing unit (GPU) for fast computations of Monte Carlo integrations. Two widely used Monte Carlo integration programs, VEGAS and BASES, are parallelized on GPU.

Aggressive prostate cancer is associated with pericyte dysfunction
Tumor‐produced TGF‐β drives pericyte dysfunction in prostate cancer. This dysfunction is characterized by downregulation of some canonical pericyte markers (i.e., DES, CSPG4, and ACTA2) while maintaining the expression of others (i.e., PDGFRB, NOTCH3, and RGS5).

Real-time 3D reconstruction from single-photon lidar data using plug-and-play point cloud denoisers
The use of single-photon data has been limited by time-consuming reconstruction algorithms. Here, the authors combine statistical models and computational tools known from computer graphics and show real-time reconstruction of moving scenes.
