Optical properties of kelbg-pseudopotential-modelled plasmas
Simulation data on hydrogen-like plasmas, modelled with the Kelbg pseudopotential, are treated within the classical theory of moments. The possibility is analyzed for the model inverse dielectric function to satisfy five convergent sum rules and other ...

An Experimental High‐Throughput Approach for the Screening of Hard Magnet Materials
An entire workflow for the high‐throughput characterization and analysis of compositionally graded magnetic films is presented. Characterization protocols, data management tools and data analysis approaches are illustrated with test case Sm(Fe, V)12 based films.

Intermittency and Self-Organisation in Turbulence and Statistical Mechanics
There is overwhelming evidence, from laboratory experiments, observations, and computational studies, that coherent structures can cause intermittent transport, dramatically enhancing transport.

Slight Truncation Changes in Iron Oxide Nanocubes Strongly Affect Their Magnetic Properties
Subtle variations in nanoparticle morphology can lead to significant changes in functional properties. An automated shape‐fitting method captures minor differences in corner truncation between iron oxide nanocubes of similar sizes synthesized under identical conditions, revealing pronounced disparities in their magnetic and hyperthermia behavior ...

Enabling and exploiting self-similar central symmetry formations [PDF]
In this work a formation flying based architecture is presented within the context of a distributed antenna array. An artificial potential function method is used to control the formation whereby deviation from an all-to-all interaction scheme and swarm ...

This study reports a microfluidic device with a functionalized surface utilizing a polyoxazoline coating and covalently immobilized gold nanoparticles and anti‐phosphatidylserine antibody. The device efficiently eliminates pre‐apoptotic and apoptotic spermatozoa and yields sperm with substantially improved quality and low DNA damage, offering a simple ...

Classical relativistic statistical mechanics: The case of a hot dilute plasma
Starting from predictive relativistic mechanics we develop a classical relativistic statistical mechanics. For a system of N particles, the basic distribution function depends, in addition to the 6N coordinates and velocities, on N times, instead of a single one as in the usual statistical mechanics.

In MOCVD MoS2 memristors, a current compliance‐regulated Ag filament mechanism is revealed. The filament ruptures spontaneously during volatile switching, while subsequent growth proceeds vertically through the MoS2 layers and then laterally along the van der Waals gaps during nonvolatile switching.
