A method to determine quasi‐steady state in constant voltage mode isotachophoresis

ELECTROPHORESIS, 2011
AbstractIdentification of the steady state is very challenging in isotachophoresis (ITP); especially in complex microgeometries, such as dog‐leg channels or cross‐channel junctions. In this work, an elastic matching method is applied to determine the quasi‐steady state in microscale ITP.

Reformulation of the Fourier–Bessel steady state mode solver

Optics Communications, 2016
Abstract The Fourier–Bessel resonator state mode solver is reformulated using Maxwell's field coupled curl equations. The matrix generating expressions are greatly simplified as well as a reduction in the number of pre-computed tables making the technique simpler to implement on a desktop computer.

Steady-state mode interactions for \(D_3\) and \(D_4\)-symmetric systems

1999
The paper deals with the study of generic bifurcations from a \(D_m\)-invariant equilibrium of a \(D_m\)-symmetric dynamical system \((m=3, 4)\) near points of codimension-2 steady-state mode interactions. The approach is based on techniques of normal forms, blowing-up, unfolding and group theory.

Steady-state analysis of a two-mode laser with multiplicative white noise

Physical Review A, 1992
The steady-state fluctuations of an inhomogeneously broadened two-mode laser with both additive and multiplicative white noise are investigated theoretically. A Fokker-Planck equation of the intensity-distribution function is presented. Analytic expressions of the autocorrelation and cross correlation of the steady-state two-mode intensities are ...

High Corank Steady-State Mode Interactions on a Rectangle

1992
We consider bifurcation of steady states from a trivial solution of PDEs. The existence of arbitrarily high corank bifurcation points is shown to be generic in restrictions of PDEs with Euclidean equivariance to systems periodic on rectangular (or rhombic) lattices under certain rationality assumptions.
