The workability of steel-fibre-reinforced concrete

Magazine of Concrete Research, 1976
Synopsis Predicting the workability of fibre-reinforced composites is difficult because of the large number of parameters involved. However, by standardizing on the unreinforced concrete or mortar mixes, it has been possible to determine the effect of type, aspect ratio and volume fraction of various steel fibres upon the slump and Vebe times of ...

Durability of Steel Fibre Reinforced Concrete

SP-212: Sixth CANMET/ACI: Durability of Concrete, 2003
Results of long-term exposure tests of steel fiber-reinforced concrete structures are reported. Comparisons are made between fibers bridging cracks and fibers fully embedded in the concrete, after which fibers were analyzed by electron microscopy. Reference testing was performed at 6, 12, and 18 months.
