Studies on stress transference mechanism of steel fibre reinforced concrete
Applied Mathematics and Mechanics, 2001The stress transfer mechanism of steel fibre reinforced concrete is studied. The solutions for the stress and displacement were regarded as the superposition of “the elementary solutions” and “the improved solutions”. The elementary solutions were found by using two-dimensional elastic theory and the improved solutions were found by using the Love ...

Steel fibre reinforced concrete beams in torsion
International Journal of Cement Composites and Lightweight Concrete, 1983Abstract The results of 28 torsion tests on steel-fibre reinforced beams are presented and discussed. The parameters varied were the type, aspect ratio ( l d ) and the volume fraction (ϱ) of the fibres used as well as the cross-sectional dimensions of the beam.

Structural applications of steel fibre reinforcement concrete
2000Steel Fibre Reinforced Concrete is not a new material, but recently the RILEM Technical Commission 162 "Test and Design methods for Steel Fibre Reinforced Concrete" is preparing some documents to classify its mechanical properties in order to take into account them in the design of concrete structures.

Hooked Steel Fibred Reinforced Cement Concrete
2020Continuous advancement in the concrete is necessary for its different purposes in different structures. Adding different fibres in concrete (as per the recommendations of structure) for its enhancement proved successful. In this paper we are studying ‘Hooked steel fibred reinforced concrete’, by adding hooked steel fibre in varying percent (0%, 1% and ...
