ABSTRACT Notorious for its homogeneous hierarchies, the financial services industry needs, yet haemorrhages, talented women. This, in combination with severe underrepresentation of women in senior leadership roles and an unproportionally large gender pay gap, warrants scholarly attention. To summarize existing work and propose future impactful research

Using decomposition of the nonlinear operator for solving non‐differentiable problems
Starting from the decomposition method for operators, we consider Newton‐like iterative processes for approximating solutions of nonlinear operators in Banach spaces. These iterative processes maintain the quadratic convergence of Newton's method.

Holder's and Hardy's Two Dimensional Diamond-alpha Inequalities on Time Scales [PDF]
We prove a two dimensional Holder and reverse-Holder inequality on time scales via the diamond-alpha integral. Other integral inequalities are established as well, which have as corollaries some recent proved Hardy-type inequalities on time scales ...

Three‐step iterative weight function scheme with memory for solving nonlinear problems
In this manuscript, we present a parametric family of derivative‐free three‐step iterative methods with a weight function for solving nonlinear equations. We study various ways of introducing memory to this parametric family in order to increase the order of convergence without new functional evaluations.

Strategic Trade Between Two Countries - Exploring the Case of Partial Local Consumer Protection [PDF]
The paper develops a dynamic model of trade between two countries where the trading entities interact in a strategic context. Consumers in both countries are endowed with certain incomes and try to acquire as much as possible of the quantities available ...

Abstract Extant research has focused on the barriers faced by minority faculty in academia. Despite outward notions of commitment to diversity, higher education institutions remain largely exclusive to anyone who does not prescribe to the ‘ideal’ faculty. Recently, more attention has been given to minority faculty who possess intersectional identities,

On the Evaluation of the Polyanskiy-Poor-Verdu Converse Bound for Finite Blocklength Coding in AWGN
A tight converse bound to channel coding rate in the finite block-length regime and under AWGN conditions was recently proposed by Polyanskiy, Poor, and Verdu (PPV).

Convergence Behavior for Newton-Steffensen’s Method under -Condition of Second Derivative [PDF]
The present paper is concerned with the semilocal as well as the local convergence problems of Newton-Steffensen’s method to solve nonlinear operator equations in Banach spaces.

Bivariate Chebyshev Type Inequalities for Alpha Diamond Integrals via Time Scale Calculus
In this article, some generalizations of inequalities involving Chebyshev functional depending upon two parameters, for the class of twice differentiable functions on time scales, are studied. In order to reach the milestone, some preliminary identities are introduced involving delta and nabla integrals simultaneously.

Some Generalized Steffensen’s Inequalities via a New Identity for Local Fractional Integrals
In this study, we first give an identity for local fractional integrals. We then make use of this identity in order to derive several generalizations of the celebrated Steffensen’s inequality associated with local fractional integrals.
