Edyta Stein w pamięci Wrocławia
The article seeks to explore the role of Edith Stein’s memory in creating the contemporary identity of the city of Wrocław. The author distinguishes between two forms of this memory, that is to say remembrance and symbolic places (lieux de mémoire).

Pozycja intencjonalna widza: projekcja ciała w pole obrazu
Our own body, both as a physical object (Körper) and as a focus experiencing sensations (Leib) is usually the axis of our self-identification. In this the mode of presentation of one's own body, in correlation of its accessibility "from the outside" and "

Stein–Weiss inequality on product spaces [PDF]
We give a classification between weighted norm inequalities of strong fractional integral operators and their corresponding multi-parameter Muckenhoupt characteristics, by considering the weights to be power functions. As a result, we extend the classical Stein–Weiss theorem on product spaces.

Gertrude Stein, spatial form, and prose poetry : how Stein uses the linguistic hybridity of prose poetry to present space as process [PDF]
My project explores how a language-based strand of prose poetry, indebted to the formal experiments of Gertrude Stein, can be used to stage space as a flux of becoming.

Higher-order Stein kernels for Gaussian approximation [PDF]
International audienceWe introduce higher-order Stein kernels relative to the standard Gaussian measure, which generalize the usual Stein kernels by involving higher-order derivatives of test functions.

An interpolation property of locally Stein sets [PDF]
We prove that, if D is a normal open subset of a Stein space X of puredimension such that D is locally Stein at every point of ∂D n Xsg, then, for every holomorphic vector bundle E over D and every discrete subset Ʌ of D \ Xsg whose set of accumulation ...

A uniformization theorem for Stein spaces
About five years ago, the authors of this article proved Cheng's conjecture: the Bergman metric of a bounded smoothly, bounded, strongly pseudoconvex domain \(\Omega\) in \({\mathbb C}^n\) is Kähler-Einstein if and only if \(\Omega\) is biholomorphic to the ball.
