FAILURE OF THE $L^{1}$ POINTWISE AND MAXIMAL ERGODIC THEOREMS FOR THE FREE GROUP
Let $F_{2}$ denote the free group on two generators $a$ and $b$. For any measure-preserving system $(X,{\mathcal{X}},{\it\mu},(T_{g})_{g\in F_{2}})$ on a finite measure space $X=(X,{\mathcal{X}},{\it\mu})$, any $f\in L^{1}(X)$, and any $n\geqslant 1 ...

Function spaces of BMO and Campanato type
To obtain the Littlewood-Paley characterization for Campanato spaces $mathcal{L}^{2,lambda}$ modulo polynomials (which contain as special case the John and Nirenberg space $BMO$), we define and study a scale of function spaces on $mathbb{R}^{n}$.

An optimized method for mass rearing the tiger-fly, Coenosia attenuata (Diptera: Muscidae)
The tiger-fly Coenosia attenuata Stein (Diptera: Muscidae) is a predator that is currently thought to be a useful biological control agent in greenhouses, especially in the Mediterranean region.

Some special Kahler metrics on SL(2,C) and their holomorphic quantization
The group SU(2)*SU(2) acts naturally on SL(2,C) by simultaneous right and left multiplication. We study the Kahler metrics invariant under this action using global Kahler potentials.

Riemann domains over Stein spaces [PDF]
The author proves the following results: Theorem A: Let \(\tilde X\) be a Riemann domain over a Stein space X (i.e. there exists \(\pi: \tilde X\to X\) local isomorphism) then: If \(H^ q(\tilde X,{\mathcal O}_{\tilde X})=0\) for \(q=1,...,\dim_{{\mathbb{C}}}X-1,\) we have: i) \({\mathcal O}(\tilde X)\) separates points; ii) for every continuous ...

Invariant meromorphic functions on Stein spaces [PDF]
In this paper we develop fundamental tools and methods to study meromorphic functions in an equivariant setup. As our main result we construct quotients of Rosenlicht-type for Stein spaces acted upon holomorphically by complex-reductive Lie groups and their algebraic subgroups.

Društveni i stranački rascjepi u Bosni i Hercegovini poslije izbora 1990. godine // Social and political divisions in Bosnia and Herzegovina after the 1990 elections [PDF]
Bosnia and Herzegovina represents a very suitable experimental space for the analysis of integrative policy in the conditions, war and long-lasting crisis, of a devastated society which, due to the challenges of history, is deeply divided.

Stein's method, Palm theory and Poisson process approximation
The framework of Stein's method for Poisson process approximation is presented from the point of view of Palm theory, which is used to construct Stein identities and define local dependence.

A uniformization theorem for Stein spaces
About five years ago, the authors of this article proved Cheng's conjecture: the Bergman metric of a bounded smoothly, bounded, strongly pseudoconvex domain \(\Omega\) in \({\mathbb C}^n\) is Kähler-Einstein if and only if \(\Omega\) is biholomorphic to the ball.
