Forgivingness Across Social Relationships and Family Generations Over Time
ABSTRACT Introduction This study addressed individual differences in forgivingness, or the tendency to forgive others, across multiple social relationships and family generations over time. Methods We used longitudinal data over 4 years across three family generations, including young adults (n = 501; M = 20.4 years), their parents (n = 350; M = 50.9 ...

Existence of good large sets of Steiner triple systems
The concept of good large set of Steiner triple systems (or GLS in short) was introduced by Lu in his paper “on large sets of disjoint Steiner triple systems”, [J. Lu, On large sets of disjoint Steiner triple systems, I–III, J. Combin.

Dynamic capital allocation in general insurance
Abstract This paper provides a model for allocating capital to different insurance lines with varying development periods for a value‐maximizing insurance company. In our model, the company makes capitalization and exposure decisions considering its capital level and its relevant loss history.

ABSTRACT Over recent years the use of yeast in feedstuffs has gained momentum due to novel developments in single‐cell proteins (SCPs). SCPs are considered a sustainable protein source, as their production enable to convert low‐value substrates (including industrial/agricultural wastes) into feed, with a related reduced environmental impact. This study

Steiner triple systems with high chromatic index
It has been conjectured that every Steiner triple system of order v 6= 7 has chromatic index at most (v + 3)=2 when v = 3 (mod 6) and at most (v + 5)=2 when v = 1 (mod 6).

Construction of Steiner Triple Systems Having Exactly One Triple in Common
A Steiner triple system is a pair (Q, t) where Q is a set and t a collection of three element subsets of Q such that each pair of elements of Q belong to exactly one triple of t. The number |Q| is called the order of the Steiner triple system (Q, t).

Three genotypes – a heat‐resistant maize (Zea mays), a heat‐susceptible maize, and a sorghum (Sorghum bicolor) variety – were grown to the V4 stage in growth chambers under optimal conditions or subjected to heat stress. Plants were grown in soil containing a complex microbial community, or in the same soil with a depleted microbiome.
