Gyrokinetic prediction of core tungsten peaking in a WEST plasma with nitrogen impurities
Tungsten peaking is predicted in the core of a WEST plasma with total-f gyrokinetic simulations, including both collisional and turbulent transport. This prediction is validated with a synthetic diagnostic of the bolometry.

Enhancing stellarator accessibility through port size optimization
Access to the plasma chamber in a stellarator reactor is essential for maintenance and diagnostics. However, the complex geometry of stellarator coils, often characterized by their strong twisting, can severely limit the space available for access ports.

A framework for discrete optimization of stellarator coils
Designing magnets for three-dimensional plasma confinement is a key task for advancing the stellarator as a fusion reactor concept. Stellarator magnets must produce an accurate field while leaving adequate room for other components and being reasonably ...

Island divertor configuration design for a quasi-axisymmetric stellarator CFQS
0000-0002-8156-8233A magnetic field configuration of an island divertor for a quasi-axisymmetric stellarator (CFQS) is proposed. The configuration incorporates large islands surrounding the core confinement region.
