Design of Dualband Bandpass High-Temperature Superconducting Filter With Group Delay Equalization

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2021
A novel dualband high-temperature superconducting (HTS) bandpass filter is proposed with group delay equalization for 5G emergency communication receivers with N41 and N79 bands in this paper.

Compact Dual-Band Bandpass Filter Using U-Shaped Stepped-Impedance Resonators with Parallel Coupled Structures [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of the Korean Institute of Electromagnetic Engineering and Science, 2018
This paper proposes a dual-band bandpass filter using stepped-impedance resonators (SIRs) with parallel coupled structures. The proposed filter adopts U-shaped SIRs with parallel coupled lines (PCLs) that have interdigital and comb-line shorted ends. The

Design and application of microstrip parallel-coupled lines employing step-impedance transmission-line compensation

open access: yesIET Microwaves, Antennas & Propagation, 2009
The application of step-impedance transmission lines (SITLs) to improving the directivity of parallel-coupled microstrip lines is presented. A simple design procedure for two configurations based on the SITL technique is given. The application of the technique is demonstrated practically with a design at 0.9 GHz on an RF60 substrate.

Compact Stepped Impedance Resonator Bandpass Filter with Tunable Transmission Zeros

open access: yes, 2017
This paper proposes a compact microstrip bandpass filter (BPF) with tunable transmission zeros, narrow bandwidth and low insertion loss. A λ/4 stepped impedance resonator (SIR) with two additional via holes has been adopted to obtain a compact size and a

Tunable Lowpass Filter with RF MEMS Capacitance and Transmission Line

open access: yesActive and Passive Electronic Components, 2012
We have presented an RF MEMS tuneable lowpass filter. Both distributed transmission lines and RF MEMS capacitances were used to replace the lumped elements.

NEW WILKINSON POWER DIVIDERS BASED ON COMPACT STEPPED-IMPEDANCE TRANSMISSION LINES AND SHUNT OPEN STUBS [PDF]

open access: yesProgress In Electromagnetics Research, 2012
This study presents new Wilkinson power dividers using compact stepped-impedance structures and capacitive loads to achieve the required power splitting. This approach can produce additional transmission zeros and efiectively suppress the desired stopbands because shunt open stubs realize capacitive loads.

Miniature Microwave Notch Filters and Comparators Based on Transmission Lines Loaded with Stepped Impedance Resonators (SIRs)

open access: yes, 2021
In this paper, different configurations of transmission lines loaded with stepped impedance resonators (SIRs) are reviewed. This includes microstrip lines loaded with pairs of SIRs, and coplanar waveguides (CPW) loaded with multi-section SIRs. Due to the

Single-and Dual-Band Bandpass Filters Using Coupled Stepped-Impedance Resonators with Embedded Coupled-Lines

open access: yes, 2022
A pair of coupled stepped-impedance resonators and its use to build single-and dual-band bandpass filter (BPF) is presented. To that end, two symmetrical stepped-impedance resonators with two embedded coupled-line sections are used.

Reconfigurable composite right/left-handed transmission line antenna based Hilbert/Minkowski stepped impedance resonator for wireless applications

open access: yesRadioelectronic and Computer Systems, 2023
The subject matter of the article is the analysis and design of a via free metamaterial antenna based on a composite right/left-handed transmission line (CRLH-TL) structure. The goal is to design a high-gain antenna with dual-band resonance capable of changing its resonance frequency and gain adaptively.
