A Novel Compact Wideband Bandpass Filter With High Upper Stopband Rejection

open access: yesIEEE Journal of Microwaves
This paper presents a novel compact wideband quadruple-mode bandpass filter (BPF) with four resonant modes and five transmission zeros (TZs). Two T-shaped stepped impedance stub loaded resonators are coupled in parallel to the input and output feed lines

Compact sext‐band bandpass filter based on single multimode resonator with high band‐to‐band isolations

open access: yesElectronics Letters, 2016
On the basis of a single multimode resonator (MMR), a miniaturised microstrip sext‐band bandpass filter (BPF) with high band‐to‐band isolations has been presented.

A new analytical method to calculate the characteristic impedance Zc of uniform transmission lines [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
A new analytical method to calculate the characteristic impedance of transmission lines embedded in identical, symmetrical and reciprocal connectors is herein presented. To calculate the characteristic impedance of transmission lines, the proposed method

Transferrin receptor 1‐mediated iron uptake supports thermogenic activation in human cervical‐derived adipocytes

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
In this study, we found that human cervical‐derived adipocytes maintain intracellular iron level by regulating the expression of iron transport‐related proteins during adrenergic stimulation. Melanotransferrin is predicted to interact with transferrin receptor 1 based on in silico analysis.

From mice to humans—divergent strategies for intestinal homeostasis and regeneration

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Recent advances such as organoid genome editing, xenotransplantation, imaging, and whole‐genome sequencing have enabled direct studies of human intestinal stem cells (ISCs). These studies reveal species‐specific features, including slower ISC proliferation, distinct injury responses, slower somatic mutation accumulation in humans, and an inverse ...

High Impedance Fault Detection in Power Transmission Lines Using Hilbert Transform and Instantaneous Frequency [PDF]

open access: yes, 2023
Power transmission lines are vital components of today's power systems. These power lines transmit the electricity produced in power plants in high volume and with very low losses to distant areas so that it can be reached to consumer through ...

Oncogenic DMTF1β promotes cancer cell motility by regulating autophagy through ULK1 stabilization

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
In the current study, we demonstrate that the oncogene DMTF1β regulates ULK1 stability by reducing its proteasomal degradation in cancer cells. This stabilization enables ULK1 to induce autophagy, which in turn facilitates cancer cell migration. Consequently, reduced DMTF1β levels lead to decreased autophagy and impaired cancer cell migration.
