Design of New Eight-Channel Diplexer for Multiband Wireless Communication System

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2018
In this paper, we proposed a new eight-channel diplexer (1.575/2.4/3.5/5.2 and 1.8/2.6/4.2/5.7 GHz) with a simple source-load input/output structure containing four pairs of coupled asymmetric stepped-impedance resonators (SIRs) in a compact circuit size.

Stepped annealing chaotic neural network model for the channel assignment problem

open access: yesTongxin xuebao, 2008
Based on the stepped annealing method used in transient chaotic neural network,a chaotic neural network model had been improved. The dividing point in the new model was chosen according to the change of the corresponding Lyapunov exponent, and made sure ...

Animal‐Assisted Activities With Therapy Dogs in Pediatric Oncology: A Multicenter Survey of the Current Status, Implementation, and Challenges in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Animal‐assisted activities (AAAs) with therapy dogs have shown positive effects on patient well‐being and quality of life in various areas of medicine, including pediatric oncology. However, research on this topic is limited. The aim of this study is to present the current status of AAA in pediatric oncology in Germany, Austria, and

Review on 5G NR LDPC Code: Recommendations for DTTB System

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2021
The freeze of the 5th generation new radio (5G NR) Release 16 indicates that 5G development has stepped into a new stage. The application of a dedicated low-density parity-check (LDPC) code for channel coding is an important technical advance that ...

Therapeutic Apheresis in Nigeria: A Multi‐Center Summary of Abstracts From the Inaugural Nigerian Society for Apheresis Scientific Meeting

open access: yesTherapeutic Apheresis and Dialysis, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Therapeutic apheresis (TA) is an established treatment modality for hematologic, neurologic, and immunologic disorders, yet access remains severely limited in sub‐Saharan Africa. Donor apheresis, including platelet apheresis collection from healthy donors, represents an important complementary modality supporting blood product ...

Bed Stability of Step‐Pool Channels With Macrorough Sidewalls

open access: yesWater Resources Research, 2023
AbstractA step‐pool bed morphology often develops in steep mountain streams. The main controlling parameters of step formation and stability are hydraulic forcing, sediment transport, and granular effects (i.e., grain‐grain interlocking, jamming).

Spatiotemporal and quantitative analyses of phosphoinositides – fluorescent probe—and mass spectrometry‐based approaches

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Fluorescent probes allow dynamic visualization of phosphoinositides in living cells (left), whereas mass spectrometry provides high‐sensitivity, isomer‐resolved quantitation (right). Their synergistic use captures complementary aspects of lipid signaling. This review illustrates how these approaches reveal the spatiotemporal regulation and quantitative

Transferrin receptor 1‐mediated iron uptake supports thermogenic activation in human cervical‐derived adipocytes

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
In this study, we found that human cervical‐derived adipocytes maintain intracellular iron level by regulating the expression of iron transport‐related proteins during adrenergic stimulation. Melanotransferrin is predicted to interact with transferrin receptor 1 based on in silico analysis.
