Second leptogenesis: Unraveling the baryon-lepton asymmetry discrepancy
We propose a novel scenario to explain the matter-antimatter asymmetry by twofold leptogenesis, wherein heavy Majorana neutrinos exhibit temperature-dependent masses and engage in CP-violating decays.

Production of heavy sterile neutrinos from vector boson decay at electroweak temperatures
In the standard model extended with a seesaw mass matrix, we study the production of sterile neutrinos from the decay of vector bosons at $T\simeq M_{W,Z}$. We derive a general quantum kinetic equation for the production of sterile neutrinos and their effective mixing angles valid in a wide range of temperature, to all orders in interactions of the ...

Testable inverse seesaw motivated from a high quality QCD axion
The QCD axion remains one of the most compelling solutions to the strong CP problem. Meanwhile, the type-I seesaw mechanism offers an elegant explanation for the lightness of the observed neutrino masses; however, its extremely heavy Majorana states ...

Sterile Neutrinos in Astrophysical Neutrino Flavor
Current global constraints in neutrino mixing parameters translate to lax PMNS unitarity relations. In this work, we explore the lack of non-unitarity in the neutrino mixing matrix via the astrophysical neutrino flavor content in both standard paradigms,

Superluminal velocity through near-maximal neutrino oscillations or by being off shell
Recently it was suggested that the observation of superluminal neutrinos by the OPERA collaboration may be due to group velocity effects resulting from close-to-maximal oscillation between neutrino mass eigenstates, in analogy to known effects in optics.

Recent high-precision cosmological data tighten the bound to neutrino masses and start rising a tension to the results of lab-experiment measurements, which may hint new physics in the role of neutrinos during the structure formation in the universe.

Measuring lepton number violation in heavy neutral lepton decays at the future muon collider
The future muon collider has the potential to discover feebly interacting particles in a wide range of masses above the electroweak scale. It is particularly suitable to search for heavy neutral leptons (HNLs), as their production cross section σ ∼ m W −

If heavy neutrinos with mass $m_{ν_{H}}\geq$2$ m_e $ are produced in the Sun via the decay ${^8\rm{B}} \rightarrow {^8\rm{Be}} + e^+ + ν_H$ in a side branch of pp-chain, they would undergo the observable decay into an electron, a positron and a light neutrino $ν_{H}\rightarrowν_{L}+e^++e^-$.
